We can't forget any of those. Those memories are our treasure! So I'm here with a simple and beautiful card for this challenge, I hope you like it:)

CARD MAKING DETAILS

  • The technique I used on this card was Layered Stamping or Overlap Stamping Technique, you can watch one of my videos for more inspiration and education.
  • Next I added splatters of brown ink to bring the design together.
  • I did give a little highlights on the leaves with Sakura White Pen.
  • Finally stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, the stamp set is by Cherrylana Designs called Alphabet.

CASology Week 376 : DRY

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another new challenge at CASology where the cue word is 'DRY'. You can interpret the cue word as you like and want. It's been a while since I used an embossing folder on my projects. This beautiful Doily 3D Textured Impressions Embossing Folder was resting in my Sizzix DT kit, so I wanted to use it. I was really amazed by the results, I mean.. look at the picture. So very cool. By the way I used Vellum for embossing. I paired it with a water color die-cut by Sizzix called Wild Flowers, a twine and sentiment from Mudra. The card stock I used as the card base was also by Sizzix.

The sponsor for this challenge is STAMPlorations. I hope you liked the card. Do visit the challenge blog to learn more details about the challenge and enjoy the beautiful cards made by our fellow DT members. Thank you so much. :)

CASOLOGY REMINDER POST, WEEK # 372 - BALL

Hello and welcome to the reminder post of CASology 372 challenge where the cue word is 'ball'. There are so many interpretations on this cue word - I chose ice cream scoop and that's round in shape :D

CARD MAKING DETAILS

I started by stamping the cute ice cream cones from Altenew - Way too sweet stamp set four times on white card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I simply colored those images with Sizzix Permanent Markers in pastel shades, fussy cut them and kept aside.

Onto the main card front, I dabbed my blending foam into Mustard Seed Distress Ink and pressed firmly on the card front to create that dotty pattern and this one will also act as halo behind the ice creams.

Adhered the ice creams over the card front, added splatters of black ink and finished the card with the sentiment. Yes! I added stickles to the ice scoops! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by. Please hop onto the challenge blog, there is still time to play along the challenges. Have fun! :)

CASOLOGY #366 | ZODIAC

Hello everyone! Welcome back. Today's cue word at CASology is Zodiac. I was born in August so I'm a Leo. Hence the card. :) And the sponsor for this week is Stamplorations.

I've tried something new in my life i.e., Line Art. It's looks very complicated but once you get a hang of it, it is very easy. If you're not sure, start with a pencil and then move onto the marker. I did like that only. I have a Pinterest board dedicated for Line Art, if you are interested go check it.

I started with a line art first and then stamped the script from Catherine Pooler Designs with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. Finally finished the card with a sentiment from Craftangles. This is a one layer card and the line art Lion is my focal image.

I hope you like it and I would like to see your beautiful cards in the gallery. Stay Safe! :)

CASOLOGY WEEK 365 - KITE

Hello everyone! How have you been? The situation in the world is very critical at the moment and we cannot ignore and take it easy. Never stop praying, stay strong, stay home, stay healthy, stay clean, stay positive and do not spend the time in vain. Make it useful, okay? So I'm here with 100% handmade card for you to cheer you up and inspire you at this hard times. I hope you like my card :)

Today's cue word at CASology challenge is 'Kite.' I almost searched my stash but I couldn't find a proper one so I decided to doodle it away. Doodling, water coloring and fussy cutting is therapeutic, try it once!

I started by water coloring the background of TimHoltz water color paper with crafTangles liquid water colors. I added splatters of gold, white and dark blue once the background is dry.

I doodled the kite and water colored with the same Liquid water colors. Then foam mounted the kite over the card front and finished it with a sentiment strip.

Adhered all the layers together and added a sparkle with sequins. And that's all for today, I hope you enjoyed reading my post. Thank you so much for visiting and please do not forget to play along CASology Challenge. I'll see you next time! <3

CASOLOGY #364 - TEA

Hello my dear lovely friends! How are you all? It's been quite sometime, right? How things going at your end? Mine was very monotonous! I try to implement new things and explore but I keep getting stuck somewhere in life. But I know something good is going to happen very soon and the Lord my God will never leave my hand. :)

So today's challenge at CASology is to interpret the cue word 'tea'. My take on this cue word is, our neighbour, who is a lawyer, loves gardening and I see her plant tiny beautiful plants in bowls, bottles, tea cups, mugs and etc. Whenever I see her blooming garden, my hearts really jumps out of joy and the peace of God surrounds me all over. I thank and praise my Lord God for creating all things beautiful.

Since I was away from my home, I had a few supplies left with me like water colors, heavy card stock and paint brushes. So I decided to paint a tea cup with beautiful flowers and hand written the sentiment with black permanent marker.

It would be nice if you played along the challenge and we love having you and we love to see your beautiful work! The sponsor for this week is Stamplorations. So hop along and have some fun! :)

CASOLOGY CHALLENGE WEEK 363 | SKYLINE

Hello everyone! Welcome to another lovely challenge at CASology challenge where the cue word is 'skyline'. I hope you guys would join the fun.

I actually was in a hurry while making this card and I wanted to keep the card really simple. So I went with the neutral tones with a hint of color. I quickly die-cut the Landscape Border die out of  black card stock through SideKick Machine and adhered as shown in the above pic. I didn't want the image adhered to be flat so I applied the glue only to the centre part of the image. This really added so much depth to the card design.

Finally punched out a heart out of red card stock and adhered to the card front and finished it with a sentiment as well. I hope you like it and please don't forget to play along the challenge. Thank you :)
