CASOLOGY WEEK 365 - KITE

Hello everyone! How have you been? The situation in the world is very critical at the moment and we cannot ignore and take it easy. Never stop praying, stay strong, stay home, stay healthy, stay clean, stay positive and do not spend the time in vain. Make it useful, okay? So I'm here with 100% handmade card for you to cheer you up and inspire you at this hard times. I hope you like my card :)

Today's cue word at CASology challenge is 'Kite.' I almost searched my stash but I couldn't find a proper one so I decided to doodle it away. Doodling, water coloring and fussy cutting is therapeutic, try it once!

I started by water coloring the background of TimHoltz water color paper with crafTangles liquid water colors. I added splatters of gold, white and dark blue once the background is dry.

I doodled the kite and water colored with the same Liquid water colors. Then foam mounted the kite over the card front and finished it with a sentiment strip.

Adhered all the layers together and added a sparkle with sequins. And that's all for today, I hope you enjoyed reading my post. Thank you so much for visiting and please do not forget to play along CASology Challenge. I'll see you next time! <3

SIMPLE DIE-CUTTING | WATER COLOR CARD VIDEO | SIZZIX LIFESTYLE

Hello everyone! Recently I purchased some school water colors and I wanted to see how it works! The results are pretty cool!! :)

CARD MAKING DETAILS

You can find more details about the basics water color supplies HERE

I went with the Pink, Yellow, Red and Grey color palette. These colors are super cool when combined together. I didn't use any stamps for this card and hence the title Simple Die-cutting.

I ran the Polaroid thinlit die, 'smile' sentiment die and one of the flowers from Wildflowers die through the Big Shot Plus Machine and I die-cut it out of Heavy White Card Stock.

I took a flat paint brush and simply applied Pink water color over the main card base. I diluted the paint little by little to achieve an ombre look. I also water colored the die-cuts!

Once everything is dry, I stacked and adhered the wildflower thinlit through the polaroid and attached that element over the main card base. Also adhered the smile die-cut to the card front.

Here is a video made for you to show you the entire process of die-cutting, water coloring and card making. Thanks for visiting! :)

SIMPLE CHRISTMAS POP UP CARD | SIZZIX LIFESTYLE | VIDEO

Hello everyone! Today I have a very Simple Christmas Pop Up Card to share with you all. I was inspired by Amanda from Little Crafty Pill for the pop up thing. She took measurements but I didn't as I don't like taking measurements and all. I just want to live that way! Thank you Amanda for all the helpful tips and tricks you share in your videos :)

The Tree Line was the previous release and the Village Christmas Time Die is from the latest collection by Tim Holtz for Sizzix Lifestyle.

Card Project Details

I'm loving working on Kraft Card Stock lately so I took a standard sized card base and another panel smaller than the main card base. Then I ran all the thinlit dies through the Big Shot Express machine and die-cut the pieces out of Black card stock.

I double stacked the Village Christmas Time die. Next I adhered the Tree Line die onto the smaller panel with the help of Tacky Glue. I added splashes of Picket Fence Paint to mimic the snow. And I let the panel dry completely.

Next I made the pop up thing, you can watch it in the video below. I adhered the Santa and Reindeer's die to the pop up element with the help of glue. Finally stamped the sentiments both inside and out with CP's Midnight Ink.

I hope you like it and would give this a try. I have also a video for you. Thank you so much for visiting. Just Watch and Enjoy! :)
