Video - Thanks Card for Altenew Challenge

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a very great Sunday.. :)

Look at this picture!! It has got so many things to get inspired, I was very much inspired by the gold, brown, lace, yellow, orange and red colors. And I think these things/elements are perfect for fall theme. So I made a 'thanks' card! ;)

For my card -  I used Floral Motifs and Super Script 2 stamps from Altenew. I did a lot of heat embossing with Gold Embossing Powder, Also used Festive berries, Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed distress inks to color my leaves. And to match the lace -  I used vellum.

I have made a video for you and also shared a few tips and techniques along. Also shared how to make a faux wooden background. You can watch the video here or you can go to my Youtube channel and watch in HD. I've also listed all the supplies in the video description box. Books!

Hello everyone! Just quickly popping in to share this card made for Lawnscaping Challenges where the theme is Back to school. I'm not much of a reader but I love reading comics and other fun related stuff. :) I took a white card stock and smooshed Peacock Feathers Distress ink. While drying, I hand drew the stack of books (inspired by google images), colored it with some markers and adhered it on to the card base using some foam tape! The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn, stamped in Archival Jet Black ink.

August Challenges - Week #2 - Dr. Sonia

Hi everyone! Welcome to the week #2 of our celebrations at Create Something Catchy Challenges. This week's challenge is being hosted and sponsored by a very sweet lady and a doctor by profession - Dr. Sonia. She challenged us to Make some handmade flowers out of anything.

I seldom make handmade flowers and trust me! it took me a while to figure it out like what flower to make and how etc. Anyhow! I found these felt papers lying in my stash box - believe me or not - I just drew some circles, cut it out and adhered to the card. I think the flowers turned out pretty!! The leaves were also hand drawn! Oh yeah! that card base is a handmade paper! And the sentiment was also hand written!

I hope you like this card and Dr.ji is sponsoring some awesome prize for the winner. Be sure to stop by the blog for more details and inspiration. Thank you so much for stopping by. See you soon..

Oh yeah! I have a Easy Card making video tutorial on my YouTube Channel for beginners and kids. If you like the video please give it a BIG thumbs up and also don't forget to subscribe to the channel for some fun and easy projects!!

Handmade Leaves

Hi everyone! How have you been? Okay! I'm here for you today with a card made for Runway Inspired Challenges ric#89 - Christian SirianoVirginia's View Challenge #17 all things embellished and Kraft Zone Bingo Challenge
.
Virginia's View - As the title, the leaves were hand drawn with a pencil, fussy cut it, sponged with distress inks, gave details with fiskars embossing tool and for the sparkle - I used clear stickles from Ranger! I love making my own embellishments sometimes! ;)

RIC - I was very much inspired by the leaves and colors, red and peach and ofcourse yellow - trust me! I used spiced marmalade distress ink for the bottom two leaves - they are slight peachy in color but my camera couldn't capture the right color so the leaves are yellowish in color.. :( But anyway! I can see some yellow color in the inspiration pic! haha.. ;) And for the other leaves I used Festive berries distress ink. To compliment the peachy tulle gown I took a same shade of paper ( a bit darker I guess! :P) and placed behind the tag!

Kraft Zone -  I chose the first column - stamp/brads/ink

I then stamped the sentiment form Technique Tuesday with Archival Jet Black Ink.

And that's it! I hope you like this card.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I'll see you soon! :)
