SIMPLE DIE-CUTTING | WATER COLOR CARD VIDEO | SIZZIX LIFESTYLE

Hello everyone! Recently I purchased some school water colors and I wanted to see how it works! The results are pretty cool!! :)

CARD MAKING DETAILS

You can find more details about the basics water color supplies HERE

I went with the Pink, Yellow, Red and Grey color palette. These colors are super cool when combined together. I didn't use any stamps for this card and hence the title Simple Die-cutting.

I ran the Polaroid thinlit die, 'smile' sentiment die and one of the flowers from Wildflowers die through the Big Shot Plus Machine and I die-cut it out of Heavy White Card Stock.

I took a flat paint brush and simply applied Pink water color over the main card base. I diluted the paint little by little to achieve an ombre look. I also water colored the die-cuts!

Once everything is dry, I stacked and adhered the wildflower thinlit through the polaroid and attached that element over the main card base. Also adhered the smile die-cut to the card front.

WATCH & ENJOY

Here is a video made for you to show you the entire process of die-cutting, water coloring and card making. Thanks for visiting! :)

HELLO CARD | SIZZIX LIFESTYLE

Hello everyone! How are you doing? I hope you guys are doing fine! :) I'm here with a Clean and Simple Hello Card made for Sizzix Lifestyle and also this card was made for a couple of challenges which I love the most! I used the gorgeous Paint Splats and Sentiments dies from Sizzix Lifestyle. Look at that sentiment! Oh! I'm so in love with it! :)

I started by watercoloring the card stock with grey and black water colors and let the panel dry for sometime!

Then I ran all the dies through the Big Shot Plus Machine and adhered it over the main card base. Oh! How I love that glittery 'hello' :D

Finally I embellished the card with a few clear sequins from Mudra. I would like to enter this card for the following challenges CASology Week 283: GLIMMER and Simon Says: Add A Sentiment.

CARD MAKING DETAILS

I cut the card stocks to the desired size, I usually don't take measurements so no measurements for you today! :) Also I ran the thinlit and framelit dies through the Big Shot Plus Machine.

I placed the Natural Floral die-cut over the white card base. I purposely cut the card base slightly smaller than the die-cut so that I can fold the edges and glue them.

Once I glued the die-cut, I had a pocket kind of thing to insert my tab through. I stamped the sentiment from CP Designs - You Did It stamp set in Midnight Ink.

Next I folded the circular glitter die-cut, adhered as shown above! Then punched a hole through it and threaded the twine and completed with a simple bow!

I then rounded the corners of the tab with my scissors for some nice finished look.

I have made another card similar to the previous one but with different color scheme! If you are interested in learning the process of this card, kindly check the video below! I made it 'for you'! I hope you enjoyed that card and video. Thank you so much for visiting! See you later! :)
