CASOLOGY REMINDER POST, WEEK # 372 - BALL

Hello and welcome to the reminder post of CASology 372 challenge where the cue word is 'ball'. There are so many interpretations on this cue word - I chose ice cream scoop and that's round in shape :D

CARD MAKING DETAILS

I started by stamping the cute ice cream cones from Altenew - Way too sweet stamp set four times on white card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I simply colored those images with Sizzix Permanent Markers in pastel shades, fussy cut them and kept aside.

Onto the main card front, I dabbed my blending foam into Mustard Seed Distress Ink and pressed firmly on the card front to create that dotty pattern and this one will also act as halo behind the ice creams.

Adhered the ice creams over the card front, added splatters of black ink and finished the card with the sentiment. Yes! I added stickles to the ice scoops! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by. Please hop onto the challenge blog, there is still time to play along the challenges. Have fun! :)

THINKING OF YOU CARD | SIZZIX AND CP DESIGNS

Hello everyone! Welcome back. Today I have a layered card for you, I hope you like it :)

CARD MAKING DETAILS

I started by adhering a pattern paper from Pebbles onto the main card base. The alphabet is a negative die-cut from previous project. I paired it with brown card stock and adhered over the pattern paper.

I ran one of the thinlits from Funky Festives and white card stock through Sizzix SideKick Machine. I colored the berry kind of things with Red Sizzix Permanent Marker.

I also stamped the sentiment from Catherine Pooler Designs, fussy cut it and kept aside.

Before adhering the elements, I wrapped a gold twine and adhered the die-cut and sentiment. Finally embellished the card with few gold sequins. Yes! I did add splatters of black ink. :D

Thanks for stopping by. See you soon! :)

DEEP GREEN, GREY AND YELLOW CARD | SIZZIX

Hello everyone! Today's card features Funky Festive Thinlit Dies by Sizzix, Hero Arts Stamp and Distress Inks.

CARD MAKING DETAILS

I started by ink blending the background with Lucky Clover Distress Ink and went on edges with Black Soot Distress Ink to create the depth in the background. I splattered water, gold paint and black ink for an interesting look.

Then I water colored a piece of card stock in grey ink, torn the edges to reveal that white part, wrapped a twine around it and adhered onto the distressed background.

I ran one of the thinlits from Funky Festives through Sizzix SideKick Machine with Sizzix Yellow Card Stock. I added depth to the die-cut with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink and adhered over the card front.

Finally stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts with Memento Tuxedo black ink. I embellished the card a few clear drops from Cherrylana Designs

CARD MAKING DETAILS

The most common things you'll notice in today's cards - Color Scheme, Splatters of Ink

This card was very simple to make and it's a one layer card. I inked up Modern Damask Background Stamp in Pixie Dust, Sweet Sixteen and Tiara inks and stamped onto the card front. The sentiment was from Good Things. Also added splatters of black ink to enhance the over all card design.

And here comes the second card..

This one was my favourite. I took a smaller image from Beautiful You Stamp Set and stamped onto the card front to create a pattern. Next I water colored the images inspired by the mood board colors. Added splatters to enhance the beauty of the card design. Finally added a sentiment strip with the twine.

I hope I have inspired you. Please do take a moment to visit the challenge blog and have fun. Thank you so much for stopping by. Stay Home and Happy Paper Crafting. :)
