CASOLOGY CHALLENGE #367, MAGICAL

Hello my dear friends! I hope you are safe and sound. Welcome to another CASology Challenge, this week's cue word is 'Magical'. Wow! the word itself sounds so magical! :D We literally need a magic to happen during this pandemic. Let's hope our days will be filled with full of sparkle again. :)

The sponsor for this week is Uniko.

I used a kraft card stock for a change, colored the lovely fairy image from Craftangles with Faber-castell Bi Color Pencils. Have I done a good job at coloring? Let me know in the comments. ;)

I have another card with the same design but some how I wasn't satisfied the way it turned out so I ended up making another one with kraft card stock. The ink I used on this card was Versafine Sepia Ink. I hope you like the cards.

Thank you so much for stopping by and also don't forget to play along with CASology Magical Challenge. Happy Paper Crafting. Stay Safe! :)

WORKING ON SOME SKIN TONES WITH DIFFERENT COLORING MEDIUMS | CRAFTANGLES OCTOBER BLOG HOP

Hello everyone! Welcome to Craftangles October Blog Hop. The theme for this hop was sharing Ethnic cards using new EID/Diwali/People of India from the newly released collection. Here I have used People of India, From all of us, World's Best stamps and Sunburst Stencil from Craftangles. I have used different coloring mediums - Color Pencils, Water Colors and Alcohol Markers on these women. I think they turned out really beautiful. What do you think?

CARD DETAILS

I started by stamping the beautiful image from Craftangles World's Best stamp set with Memento Black Ink on Canson Watercolor paper. Then I colored the image with Faber-Castell Color Pencils. I went with lighter shade first and then moved onto the darker shade. I chose water color paper because of the added texture which is very helpful for the colors to blend while coloring. Don't go too harsh on the paper, start with light strokes and then build up the color.

I took an A2 sized card, placed the Sunburst Stencil and blended in Black Soot Distress Ink through it. Finally Stamped the sentiment from From All of us and finished the card by adhering the colored panel over the main card base.

This one was also similar to previous card design but I used Sizzix Permanent Markers for coloring the image. These are alcohol base so I used an alcohol friendly ink, Memento Tuxedo Black, to stamp the image.

I used People of India, From all of us Stamps and Sunburst Stencil from Craftangles.

This is the last one and also similar to previous cards. I stamped the image in Archival Jet Black Ink which is permanent, water proofed and fast drying, on Canson Water Color Paper and Water colored the image with School Watercolors from Camel.

I used People of India, From all of us stamps and Sunburst Stencil for this card too. :)

I hope you like these cards. Thank you so much for visiting. Take care and I'll see you next time. :)

CUTE HOLIDAY CARDS | A MUSE STUDIO

Recently I've shared these pencil colored images on my Instagram feed. They were just lying on my desk. Last night I fussy cut them and placed them in my Trinket Box. In the morning I made two cards with these images. I used Faber-Castell color pencils to color my images.

These cute stamps are from A Muse Studio called Forest Friends. I used one of the Sizzix Rectangular framelit dies to die-cut my smaller panel. I ink blended Peacock Feathers Distress Ink over that die-cut panel and adhered all the cuties with Tacky Glue. Finally splashed snow with Picket Fence Distress Paint and finished the card by stamping the sentiment from the same stamp set.

This is almost a single layer card!? I die-cut the grass border with Grass die by A Muse Studio and adhered onto my card front along with the images. Finally finished the card by stamping the sentiment from Forest Friends.

I didn't have any Christmas or holiday related stamps and dies from Hero Arts and SSS. I hope you like these cards. I'm entering these cards for A Blog Named Hero Challenge: Winter Holiday with Simon Says Stamp. Thank you :)
