WISHING YOU LOVE AND JOY THIS HOLIDAY SEASON, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

Hello everyone! We are at the end of the year! We have faced so many hurdles, ups and downs! I wish 2021 would be of great joy, health and prosperity. I wish you all very happy and blessed New Year. Stay Home and Stay safe and Stay crafty. :)

The above card was made for the Craftangles Challenge where the theme is Red, Green or White. I used Neighbourhood Stencil, Happy Holidays Stamp Set, Merry Christmas 6x6 paper pack and some Liquid Watercolors by Craftangles. I was very much inspired by Monalisa's project and colors really caught me.

CARD MAKING DETAILS

  1. I started by placing the stencil and tracing the outlines with a pencil on a white card stock which is slightly smaller than the main card base.
  2. Then I went ahead and watercolored the houses with Salmon, trees with Evergreen and Lime light Liquid water colors by Craftangles. I gave a light wash to the sky with Pool Side Liquid Water color again by Craftangles.
  3. Once everything is dry, I added splatters of Gesso for the snowfall effect and distressed the sides of the card front with Sizzix Multi Tool.
  4. I stamped the sentiment from Happy Holidays stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
  5. Onto the main card base, I adhered a pattern paper from Merry Christmas Collection that matches my design.
  6. Finally I adhered the card front over the card base and embellished with some stars.

I hope you like the card. Thank you so much for stopping by. Take care and I'll see you next year. :)

CASOLOGY WEEK #379 - WHEAT

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another wonderful challenge at CASOLOGY this week where the cue word is 'Wheat'. Here I am with wheat stack (wild garden by CP Designs) at the center of my card surrounded by star confetti and glitter. Yep, I watercolored the background with Pool Side and Coffee Mocha liquid watercolors by Craftangles.

CARD DETAILS

  • I started by watercoloring the hot pressed watercolor paper by Brustro with Coffee Mocha and Pool Side Liquid water color by craftangles. You can watch one of my previous videos to know the process.
  • I stamped a bunch of leaves with Antique Linen Distress Ink, water colored them with yellows and oranges to mimic a wheat stack.
  • Once all the panels are dry I went ahead and fussy cut all the images and stacked them on the card front.
  • I wrote 'thank you' on a scrap paper and adhered beneath the stack.
  • Finally I embellished the card with star confetti and glitter.
I hope you like the card. Please do participate in our challenges and have fun. And also please don't forget to visit our fellow DT members blogs for more inspiration and knowledge. Thank you :)

CASOLOGY WEEK #378 - STAG

Hello my dear lovely friends! Welcome back to another challenge at CASology where the cue word is 'STAG'. I had so many ideas but I wanted to create one of a kind Christmas cards this year. The beautiful 'Elegant Deer from Sizzix' came to my rescue. I have a video on this 'One die, four cards', a little older one, please do check at your free time. :)

I started by die-cutting the elegant deer through the BigShot Express Machine. Then placed it on a black card stock and splattered all the pigment with paint brush. I let it dry completely and adhered the deer. I die-cut 'Noel' from 'Festive Set by Sizzix' out of glitter card stock and adhered over the deer.

I hope you like the card and I hope you got inspired. Please do visit the blog for more details and only please do forget to visit my fellow DT members blogs for some amazing inspiration. The sponsor for this challenge is STAMPlorations. Thanks for visiting, take care and I'll see you soon. :)

CASology Week 376 : DRY

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another new challenge at CASology where the cue word is 'DRY'. You can interpret the cue word as you like and want. It's been a while since I used an embossing folder on my projects. This beautiful Doily 3D Textured Impressions Embossing Folder was resting in my Sizzix DT kit, so I wanted to use it. I was really amazed by the results, I mean.. look at the picture. So very cool. By the way I used Vellum for embossing. I paired it with a water color die-cut by Sizzix called Wild Flowers, a twine and sentiment from Mudra. The card stock I used as the card base was also by Sizzix.

CASOLOGY WEEK 375 | SPICE

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another challenge at CASology where the cue word is Spice. I never had Pumpkin Spice Latte or anything like that but that was the first thing that hit my mind after seeing the cue word. For making CAS cards the white space doesn't have to be white, I took a nice yellow shade of cardstock by Sizzix as my card base. Then I hand drawn and  water colored the Pumpkin with Tutti Frutti ink and Lime Rickey Ink by Catherine Pooler Designs and fussy cut it. I used Sakura White Gel pen to write my sentiment as well as to highlight and border the pumpkin. Finally I foam mounted the pumpkin over the card front.

I hope you like the card and I hope you would play along. The sponsor for this challenge is Your Next Stamp. Thank you so much for visiting. See you soon :)

CASOLOGY WEEK #374 - VACATION

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another challenge at CASology where the cue word is 'Vacation'. We all need a vacation, right? Let's plan when the pandemic is over. I really want to escape to place like this. I dream a lot about this scene! And I don't know where this place is located. I often day dream about 'Me and husband in that cozy wooden house with all the snow outside and warmth inside, with a warm and cozy blanket on us, with mugs full of hot coffee in our hands and watching a good movie, aw! how romantic!! :D

I drew that sweet scene and water colored it. I hope you like the card and I hope you guys would join the fun. Thank you so much for stopping by. Take care and I'll see you next time! :)
