BY THE POOL CARD | CASOLOGY
Hello dear friends! There is still time to play at CASology Week 371 challenge where the theme was 'pool'. And here is my take on it. I simply water colored the background with Craftangles Pool Side ink on Canson Cold Pressed Water Color paper. Stamped the cute image from Hero Arts - Baby Animals stamp set in Archival Jet Black Ink and water colored as well. And that Good Luck stamp was from Sizzix.
I added little details (underwear) to the cat, check below! :D
I hope you like the card and I hope you got inspired. Thank you so much for stopping by. Please don't forget to link your projects to the gallery. Thanks again and happy paper crafting. :)

CREATE SOMETHING CATCHY CHALLENGES | LET'S GET PINSPIRED #3
Hello, hello! This card is a part of Create Something Catchy Challenges. Yep! the challenge blog is open now and anybody can participate. Also this card features Doodle Rose and Dainty Birthday Numbers by Sizzix Lifestyle. I did a lot of loose water coloring on this card with Distress Inks. :)
Products from Sizzix Lifestyle
HOW I MADE THIS CARD
- I took a card panel smaller than the main card base and loose water colored the background with Peacock Feathers and Dusty Concord Distress Inks
- Then I die-cut the Doodle Rose and 'today' from Dainty Birthday Numbers from heavy weight card stock
- I water colored the rose with Peeled Paint and Picked Raspberry Distress inks
- I colored 'today' die-cut in black and applied shimmer with Wink of Stella clear glitter pen
- Then stamped the sentiment on a strip of white card stock from Mudra in Archival Jet Black Ink
- Finally adhered all the elements with Tacky Glue and embellished the card with a few clear sequins from Mudra
I hope you like this card. Do participate in the current challenge and have fun. Thank you :)

SIMPLE WATER COLOR CARDS | COUNTING BLESSINGS | CATHERINE POOLER DESIGNS
Hello! I'm back with three pretty simple water color cards for Catherine Pooler Designs. Today my cards feature Good Things Stamp Set from Counting Blessings Collection, All that Jazz, Party Dress, Tiki Torch and Midnight Inks. These inks are water based. I added Gold Foil at the bottom for some gorgeous look.

Ink - Party Dress and Midnight Inks
Stamps - Good Things Stamp Set
Ink- Tiki Torch and Midnight Inks
- I smooshed the ink pads - Tiki Torch, All that Jazz and Party Dress onto the acrylic block and did some loose water coloring over the heavy weight card stock which is smaller than the main card base.
- I let the panel dry for sometime and added splatters of ink of the respective colors with a paint brush.
- Once everything was dry, I stamped the bold sentiments from Good Things Stamp Set in Midnight Ink.
- At the very bottom of the panel I adhered double sided tape and gold foiled it.
- Then I foam mounted the panel over the main card base.
And that's all for today. The Counting Blessings Collection is available in the shop. Please visit catherinepooler.com for more details.

Sizzix Lifestyle | Little Robin | Video
This Little Robin is one of the cutest dies from Sizzix Lifestyle Chapter 3 release. When I first saw this thinlit I knew that I am going to make a Christmas Card. I thought the Holiday Greens thinlits by Timholtz would match perfectly to Little Robin and yes! they sure did! I really like the bright contrast colors on my projects, it's all depends on my mood! ;)
I started by running Canson Montval Water Color Paper and thinlit dies through the Bigshot Express Machine. Then I water colored the die-cut using Camlin Brush Pens.
Then I cut brown card stock exactly the same of the main card base and adhered all the die-cuts as shown above.
To mimic the snow I added droplets of Picket Fence Distress Paint Dauber.
And finished my card by stamping the sentiment in white ink and dusted off with Perfect Pearls.
I have filmed a video, you can watch it here or at my YouTube Channel. Enjoy!
The above card was inspired by one of previous makes!
I have a video for this one also! Enjoy!
Thank you so much for stopping by. See you soon! :)

Smile | SOA Naturally Inspired Collection
I've been into water color mode lately and I must say I am very much obsessed with it and enjoying every bit of it. I have a very few water color mediums, among them Distress Inks are one of my favourites! :) By the way the stamps I'm using today are from the latest release of Stamp of Approval - Naturally Inspired Collection
How to achieve water color look with Solid Stamps:
There are two ways to achieve this look
1. Ink up the solid image, spritz some water and stamp onto the paper. This is one of the easiest ways to achieve water color look instantly.
2. Second way - Smoosh the ink pad onto the acrylic block, pick the ink up with a wet paint brush, apply the pigment onto the stamp, huff a little and then stamp!
I applied the second technique here. I applied Festive Berries and Peeled Paint Distress Inks on one of the flowers from the Wild Flowers Stamp Set and stamped it onto the paper. I love how this card turned out. So beautiful! :)
Once the water color image was dry I added tiny splatters of black paint and stamped the sentiment from Medallion Mix Up stamp set. I added Star Dust stickles onto the berries (you can see it in first and second pics). I hope you like it. Thanks for visiting. :)

I made several cards with this beautiful collection but today I will be showing you two cards and in the next coming days I will show you more! I will try to make more and more cards with this collection :)
This card features Birds of a Feather and Medallion Mix-up stamp sets.
inks used - rockin' red and midnight
I inked up the beautiful feather and spritzed some water and stamped repeatedly on the card base. Stamped the message on a die-cut circle and wrapped and tied a simple knot with white twine.
This card features Wild Garden, Simply the Best stamp sets and the Best Die.
inks used - melon ice, garden party, sweet sixteen, pixie dust and midnight
I applied the same technique for this one also as mentioned in the above card. Die-cut the word best and sponged the ink at the bottom and adhered it onto the card base. Also stamped the sentiment beneath the die-cut as well.
Make sure to leave a comment on each blog because Catherine is giving away one of the Naturally Inspired Stamp of Approval collections for EACH day of the hops. That is 3 boxes! The more times you comment, the more chances you will have of to win! (If the winner has already purchased a box, they will be refunded!)
You've got until Thursday at 9:00AM EST to get those comments in. The winner will be announced on Catherine Pooler's blog! Good luck and happy hopping!
