Smile | SOA Naturally Inspired Collection

I've been into water color mode lately and I must say I am very much obsessed with it and enjoying every bit of it. I have a very few water color mediums, among them Distress Inks are one of my favourites! :) By the way the stamps I'm using today are from the latest release of Stamp of Approval - Naturally Inspired Collection

How to achieve water color look with Solid Stamps:

There are two ways to achieve this look

1.  Ink up the solid image, spritz some water and stamp onto the paper. This is one of the easiest ways to achieve water color look instantly.

2.  Second way -  Smoosh the ink pad onto the acrylic block, pick the ink up with a wet paint brush, apply the pigment onto the stamp, huff a little and then stamp!

I applied the second technique here. I applied Festive Berries and Peeled Paint Distress Inks on one of the flowers from the Wild Flowers Stamp Set and stamped it onto the paper. I love how this card turned out. So beautiful! :)

Once the water color image was dry I added tiny splatters of black paint and stamped the sentiment from Medallion Mix Up stamp set. I added Star Dust stickles onto the berries (you can see it in first and second pics). I hope you like it. Thanks for visiting. :)

Stamp of Approval Candy Cane Lane Release Day!

Welcome to the release day of Stamp of Approval Cane Cane Lane Collection
. Hurry and place your order!!! :)

And to know more details please visit catherinepooler.com (owner of the SOA)

Hello everyone! These are the cards I made with Candy Cane Lane Collection. You can check my previous cards made with this collection HERE.

Recently I moved to a new house and I have set up my crafting and filming area. The lighting wasn't that good but I will try to find a better solution for that very soon :)

So this is pretty simple card and nothing fancy at all. I inked up the Peppermint Stick Background stamp with Broken China Distress Ink and spritzed a little amount of water and placed the card stock on top of it. Next I die cut the dies from Merry Label dies, stamped and die cut the holly leaves and berries from Candy Cane Lane stamp set with Aquamarine Archival ink and Neon pink ink. And adhered everything together.

Here is the video for you, Enjoy! :)

And now here is the second one, kind of layered! I inked up the Peppermint Stick Background stamp with Black Soot Distress Ink and stamped it on a white card base. Next I pulled out the Candy Canes and hearts from Candy Cane Lane Set and stamped randomly with Mama Elephant Bubble Gum and Butter cup inks.

Finally die cut the Merry from Merry Label Dies and stamped the sentiment from Merry and Boughs set and adhered everything together.

And that's the cards for today. I hope you like them! The Stamp of Approval Candy Cane Lane Collection is full of Joy and Happiness. You will never regret buying it. :) Go ahead and place your order now! Thanks for stopping by. Take care and I will see you soon :)

So now let's move on to the cards that I made with beautiful stamps and dies from Stamp of Approval box. :)

My first card features the Lovely Flowers Stamp Set (Catherine Pooler Designs). Hand Painted Thanks (Neat and Tangled) and Lovely Flowers and Dies (Catherine Pooler Designs). I stamped the whole background with tiny dots stamp that comes in Lovely Flowers with Black Soot Distress Ink. The reason why I chose the distress ink for stamping is that I wanted to have that irregular and splotchy and faded look in the background.

Next, I die-cut the banners from Lovely Flowers and dies, colored with the same distress ink and adhered it on to the card base. I adhered a strip of gold washi tape, I love gold details on my cards! Stamped the 'thanks' from Hand Painted Thanks on to some white card stock, fussy cut it and foam mounted it on to the washi tape along with some golden string! I added three golden sequins to compliment the design!

Now let's move on to the second card design! This card is pretty by the way with all the beautiful floras and colors! And this card features Lovely Flowers Stamp Set.

I ink smooshed the background with Peacock Feathers and Seedless Preserves Distress inks. While the panel was drying I stamped all the flowers on a white card stcok with Hero Arts Neon Inks.

I heat embossed the leaves from the set with Gold Embossing Powder. Fussy cut all the images and adhered it on to the card base. I also stamped the sentiment from the same set with Archival Jet Black ink, fussy cut it and adhered it on the floral arrangement!

And now let's move on to the third card and this card features Wonderful Wreath (Catherine Pooler Designs) with a video! :)

This card is very dimensional and involves lots of stamping and fussy cutting! Of course, the previous card also has got lots of stamping and fussy cutting involved. I pulled out the stamps and stamped all the images with Memento Grape Vine, Archival Ink Carnation Red, Versafine Vintage Sepia Ink and Versamark Ink. And heat set the few images with Gold Embossing Powder from Ranger.

I added tiny droplets of gold and black paint on to the background and you can say that it is my signature style :P None of my cards were complete without gold, splatters, glitter and sequins!

And that pretty much finishes the cards for today. I have made a video for you from start to finish showing you how I put the Wonderful Wreath card together. I hope you like it. If you like the video please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my YouTube Channel
