MERRY AND BRIGHT CARD | SIZZIX LIFESTYLE

Hello everyone! Welcome back. This card is for Sizzix Lifestyle. The overall card design was inspired by Timholtz 2018 Idea-ology Holiday Cover Photo. I hope Tim and you guys don't mind me :p

CARD DETAILS

I started by die-cutting the Holiday Greens and Garden Greens Thinlit Dies out of Canson Watercolor Paper and water colored them with Candied Apple, Vintage Photo and Peeled Paint Distress Inks. 

Next I distressed the background panel with Candied Apple Distress Ink and then added stripes with water and Picket Fence Distress paint. Then I added splatters of water and Picket Fence ink with paint brush for the snowy effect.

To the edges of the card panel I added Picket Fence Distress Paint.

I adhered all the water colored die-cuts with Tacky Glue and stamped the sentiment from CP Designs with Archival Jet Black Ink.

CARD WITHOUT A SENTIMENT | SIZZIX LIFESTYLE

Hello everyone! Welcome back! Today I have a card for you but without a sentiment. I felt that the card itself was full so there is no need of a sentiment! ;) My card features the beautiful Timholtz and My Life Handmade dies by Sizzix Lifestyle. This is a Christmas Card with non traditional dies. :)

HOW I MADE THIS CARD

• I placed one of the Stacked Baroque thinlit dies and ran through the Sizzix Bigshot Express Machine.
• I also die-cut the branch and the bird out of white card stock and colored them with Vintage Photo and Festive Berries Distress Ink.
• I distressed the background with Broken China Distress Ink and added splashes of water for some snow fall look.
• Finally I adhered the die-cut window along with the bird and branch and finished with a little sparkle from Stardust Stickles.

CHRISTMAS THEMED MILK CARTON FAVOUR BOXES | SIZZIX LIFESTYLE

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful time! I made these Milk Carton Favour Boxes for my neighbor's kids. These are just for sample, may be I'll make more in the next coming days!!! 

I used a few pattern papers from Prima and Mudra. I die-cut the leaves out of white card stock and colored it with Camlin Real Brush Markers!

I die-cut a few smaller tags from out of white and kraft card stocks. The sentiment was handwritten. I also added a bow with white twine and adhered the whole part to the small clothes pin.

I just love how these turned out. They are so so cute! :)

TRINKET BOX | DIY | SIZZIX LIFESTYLE

Hello hello everyone! I am so happy that we have entered the season of Love, Happiness and Kindness! Today I am here with a DIY project made using almost with scraps from my stash. It's a Trinket Box! I always wanted to make a project like this finally I am here with it. It is not perfect but I like it though!

PROJECT DETAILS

I started by cutting down the card board pieces and adhered the pattern paper from Papericious. Next I applied a coat of Egyptian Gold Pigment Paint to the edges and rubbed randomly over it.

I adhered a strip as shown above for the easy opening and closing mechanism. It wasn't that good but the over all look of the box is cool.

I die-cut the leaves from Holiday Greens, Garden Greens and Meadow Leaves out of a few scrap papers and applied a coat of gold pigment paint. I adhered all the leaves forming a wreath.

I also die-cut Angel #2 from Papericious, applied Stardust Glitter to it's wings and wrapped golden time to it's body.

I adhered the wreath over the box and followed by Angel. I foam mounted the Angel for some dimension.

Finally I embellished the Angel with a few golden gems. I hope you like it :)

Funky Flamingo | Sizzix Lifestyle | Pinterest Inspired

I'm afraid of making tags because I really don't know how to work with them or create any design on them. But today I challenged myself to create a tag and the above designed was inspired by one of the images that I saved to my Inspiration board on Pinterest. (to be honest I just copied that image :P)

I die-cut a tag out of white card stock from Tag Framelits by Timholtz. Then I added water colored stripes with Chipped Sapphire Distress ink. Then I die-cut a Flamingo out of white card stock and water colored them with Picked Raspberry and Mustard Seed distress ink.

I die-cut the leaves from Garden Greens and water colored them with Peeled Paint Distress Ink. 

Finally stamped the sentiment in Archival Jet Black Ink and embellished the tag with a few clear sequins from Mudra. And also added Rock Candy Stickles to the Flamingo's beak, wings and leaves.
