MERRY CHRISTMAS | SIZZIX LIFESTYLE |VIDEO

I love watching this kind of scenes but I usually don't find these in the place where I live. Whenever I watch these scenes on videos I feel so fascinated!! :)

CARD MAKING DETAILS

I started by die-cutting the Open Road thinlits and one of the trees from the Woodland thinlits out of several colored card stocks and assembled them. The Green and Teal colored card stocks are from A Muse Studio.

Next I placed Geo Trio Stencil from Catherine Pooler Designs and applied Ranger Texture Paste through it. I'm very new to this Texture Paste and it's a bit messy! ;)

Next I adhered the tree over the card and adhered both the pieces onto the panel with foam tape and glue.

I combined two sentiments from For Everything and Merry and Bright Boughs stamp set from Catherine Pooler Designs and stamped it with Archival Jet Black Ink.

I like this one, so cute and fun with happy and bright colors!

I have also made a video for you. I hope you like it. Thank you so much for watching. See you soon! :)

3D CHRISTMAS SCENE | SIZZIX LIFESTYLE | VIDEO

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful Monday! :P Today I'm going to show how to create a 3D Christmas Scene with Sizzix Lifestyle's dies. I used the gorgeous Woodland thinlit dies and the cute Little Deer Bigz die from Sizzix Lifestyle. I have also a video to share with you, in the video I'll be showing you '3D Christmas Scene and the Dimensional Color Layering'.

CARD PROJECT DETAILS

I started by Ink Smooshing the background with Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Ink onto a heavy white card stock. You can use any water based inks or markers for this technique.

Next I die-cut the trees out of Iris Card Stock and the deer out of heavy white card stock with the help of Big Shot Express machine.

I tried to achieve some Dimensional Color Layering onto the deer. I used Frayed Burlap, Vintage photo and Black Soot distress ink for this technique.

First, I went the whole deer with Frayed Burlap, then to the edges and a little inside went with Vintage Photo and onto the edges of the deer with Black Soot Distress Inks

I really like the looks of the deer! So pretty and dimensional!! If possible I will come up with a video on showing only the Dimensional Color Layering. :)

I took a scrap piece of card stock, drew a hill with pencil, cut it and adhered it onto the card front. I also adhered the trees and deer with Tacky glue. To mimic the snow I added splatters of Picket Fence Distress Paint.

I made another card before making the actual one and that one was without snow! Which one you like? the one with the snow or without? I have also made a video for you, I hope you like it, enjoy it and would give it a try! Thank you so much for visiting. Take care and I will see you soon :)

PINKY HOLIDAY CARD | SIZZIX LIFESTYLE

Do you like making Holiday Cards with non traditional colors and supplies? I enjoy doing it and I do it every year, I love playing that way! :)

Products from Sizzix Lifestyle

please visit sizzix.co.uk for more information and education about die-cutting and handmade products.

CARD PROJECT DETAILS

I like Iris card stock for some reasons because it is smooth, gives good results with the ink blending also gives a whimsical look when water or water colors were applied. When you stamp an image it does take a few seconds to dry but I think that is not a problem at all! Overall the finished card looks fantastic!! So I started by trimming down the Iris card stock to a standard sized side folding card, took another panel smaller than the main card base.

Over the smaller panel I ink blended the background with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink. After that I added splashes of water and blotted the excess water with a tissue paper. Once that's done I placed Bubble Stencil from TimHoltz's Stampers Anonymous, applied Picket Fence Dauber Ink through it.

Next, I die-cut one of the Meadow Leaves through the Big Shot Express Machine and water colored it with Peeled Paint Distress Ink.

I free hand cut the hill with a pair of scissors and adhered the hill top over the smaller panel with foam tape followed by the leaves/trees with Tombow Glue.

Finally stamped the sentiment 'Happy Holidays' in London Fog ink by Memento

Also adhered the smaller panel over the main card base with foam tape. And that finished my card for today. Thank you for visiting. :)

Haunted House | Unboxing Chapter 4 dies | Sizzix Lifestyle | Video

Does this Haunted House look scary? I think it's kinda cute! :) This spooky thinlit die is by Tim Holtz's Halloween Collection called Haunted House. I have two more spooky cards on my blog made using Tim's collection, you can check them HERE and HERE.

Card Project Details

I started by die-cutting the Haunted House die out of Black Card Stock by running through the Big Shot Express machine. Along with that I also die-cut the Moon out of yellow and Bats out of black card stocks

I placed the yellow card stock behind the windows and doors of the haunted house just to mimic the lights were on in the house.

Do you like what I did to the sky? To add more spookiness to the background, I dabbed Picket Fence Distress paint over the main black card base and smudged the paint with my fingers. That created an interesting sky! :)

Next, I adhered the house, moon and the bats with foam and glue. I added black wink of stella to the bats and clear wink of the stella to the windows and doors.

Finally I wrapped a white twine and finished the card with a sentiment strip. That sentiment was from A Muse Studio.

Here I have created a video for you showcasing the Chapter 4 goodies, Latest Halloween Dies by Timholtz and the card I made I using Haunted House Die. Enjoy! :)

Trick or Treat | Sizzix Lifestyle

Hello everyone! I am into a kind of Mixed Media and Vintagy mode lately and I don't know why! ? Anything grungy is attracting me. I am dreaming of those colors. May be, I guess that's the spirit of Halloween! LOL! So I am here with a kind of grungy card made for Sizzix Lifestyle with the brand new Halloween dies collection by TimHoltz called Trick or Treat.

Project Details

I started my card design by ink blending the Canson Montval Water Color Paper with Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap Distress Ink and added splatters of water for some awesome look. Next I die-cut all the images from Trick or Treat set through Big Shot Express Machine.

I used Brown, Orange and Black colored cardstocks for my die-cuts and adhered them over the card panel. Once I am happy with the placement I applied Star Dust Stickles here and there onto the die-cut images.

Finally I adhered the card panel over the main card base. This is not an A2 card, it's a kind of long top folding card ;)

Funky Flamingo | Sizzix Lifestyle | Pinterest Inspired

I'm afraid of making tags because I really don't know how to work with them or create any design on them. But today I challenged myself to create a tag and the above designed was inspired by one of the images that I saved to my Inspiration board on Pinterest. (to be honest I just copied that image :P)

I die-cut a tag out of white card stock from Tag Framelits by Timholtz. Then I added water colored stripes with Chipped Sapphire Distress ink. Then I die-cut a Flamingo out of white card stock and water colored them with Picked Raspberry and Mustard Seed distress ink.

I die-cut the leaves from Garden Greens and water colored them with Peeled Paint Distress Ink

Finally stamped the sentiment in Archival Jet Black Ink and embellished the tag with a few clear sequins from Mudra. And also added Rock Candy Stickles to the Flamingo's beak, wings and leaves.

And that's it. I hope you like it. Thanks so much for visiting :)

Make a wish | Sizzix | Video

Hello everyone! I love turning pins into cards. If you follow me on Pinterest, you might have seen this 'pin' already. That was such a wonderful pin, the moment I saw the image I wanted to turn it into a card. I don't know what took me so long!!! I have a tiny playlist on my YouTube Channel called Let's Get Pinspired where I turned a few pins into cards  :)

CARD DETAILS

I started by ink blending the panel with Black Soot Distress Ink and added splatters of water for some texture. Next I die-cut the Alliums flower - Make a wish thinlit - out of white card stock and colored the upper part with Dusty Concord and the stem part with Peeled Paint. I die-cut the floral part twice and adhered it on top of the base flower for some dimension.

Next I stamped the sentiment from Stampers Anonymous in CP Midnight Ink. I LOVE that sentiment! I adhered the flower next to the sentiment. I applied a nice coat of Wink of stella clear to the flowers for some shimmer.

Finally finished the card off with a few sequins from Mudra. I have filmed a video for you where I've shared everything in detail. I hope you'll like it :)

I'm entering this card for Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - A Bit of Sparkle
