DEEP GREEN, GREY AND YELLOW CARD | SIZZIX

Hello everyone! Today's card features Funky Festive Thinlit Dies by Sizzix, Hero Arts Stamp and Distress Inks.

CARD MAKING DETAILS

I started by ink blending the background with Lucky Clover Distress Ink and went on edges with Black Soot Distress Ink to create the depth in the background. I splattered water, gold paint and black ink for an interesting look.

Then I water colored a piece of card stock in grey ink, torn the edges to reveal that white part, wrapped a twine around it and adhered onto the distressed background.

I ran one of the thinlits from Funky Festives through Sizzix SideKick Machine with Sizzix Yellow Card Stock. I added depth to the die-cut with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink and adhered over the card front.

Finally stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts with Memento Tuxedo black ink. I embellished the card a few clear drops from Cherrylana Designs

A SIMPLE VINTAGE STYLED CHRISTMAS CARD | SIZZIX | VIDEO

Hello my dear lovely crafters! How are you all?

Welcome back to a new blog post. Today's card is little bit different than my usual card making style. I always prefer making single layered or simple cards but I wanted to try something different and I realised I also love making this kind of cards. It's so relaxing to try something new everyday, right. For my card I used Funky Festive Thinlit Dies by Sizzix designed by TimHoltz. :)

visit sizzix.com and sizzix.co.uk for more education and information.

CARD DETAILS

I started my card making process by die-cutting the Poinsettia and other floral dies by running through the Sizzix SideKick Machine with Sizzix textured card stock.

Then I applied Vintage Photo Distress Ink to the edges of the die-cuts for more dimensional and vintagy look.

For the background, I ruffled a pattern paper and highlighted the ruffles with Vintage Photo Distress ink. This created a very beautiful backdrop for the card.

I took another panel smaller than the main card base, tore one of the edges, distressed the other edges with Sizzix Distressing Tool and applied Vintage Photo to match the card's color combo. I also adhered the red card stock to the torn side.

I stamped Merry Christmas with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and adhered all the die-cuts with Tacky Glue. For the details of the flower, I added gold paint to the center of the flower. Finally I added splatters of gold followed by white paint to the whole card design for some whimsical snowy look.

VIDEO DETAILS

I have filmed a TimeLapse Video for you, Enjoy!

And that's all for today. I hope you liked the card and video. I'm entering this card for Simon Says: Christmas Challenge. Thanks for stopping by today. See you soon! :)

FALL/AUTUMN THEMED CARD | SIZZIX

Hello my dear crafty friends! How are you doing?

Welcome back! Today's card is going to be a simple water colored die-cut card made in Fall/Autumn themed. The beautiful die-cuts are from TimHoltz collection called Funky Festives by Sizzix. Please visit sizzix.co.uk and sizzix.com for more information and education.

CARD DETAILS

This is going to be a simple one. Okay. Firstly, I started die-cutting all the foliage dies through Sizzix SideKick Machine with heavy weight white card stock.

It's been very long since I used Koi Water Colors on my projects, I wanted to use them badly so here I am. I water colored the die-cuts in fall themed color combo.

I also water colored the backdrop of the card with some yellows and oranges. And I let the panel dry completely, I let the die-cuts also dry completely.

After adhering die-cuts to the card front, I added splatters of black and gold paint for that awesome look and finished the card with a sentiment from CP Designs.

I'm entering this card for Simon Says: Fall/Autumn. And that's all for today and thank you so much for stopping by. See you soon! :)

FUNKY BOUQUET | SIZZIX

Hello hello my dear sweet friends! I have lots of projects to share with you all, I thought of sharing one after since Monday but you know, chores and other responsibilities kept me away from blogging but not from crafting. I always spend sometime for crafting even though I have a busy schedule because that keeps me happy, refreshed and motivated. :)

So this card is for Sizzix and I've used the most beautiful thinlit dies called Funky Festive designed by Tim Holtz. Below are the products (from Sizzix) I used for my card.

CARD DETAILS

I started by die-cutting a few thinlits from Funky Festive out of white card stock through the Sizzix Sidekick Machine. Then I colored the dies with Sizzix Markers. Over the main card base, I masked one of the edges with washi tape and blended in with Broken China Distress Ink and then added splatters of water and removed the excess with a tissue paper.

Then I adhered all the die-cuts over the main card base and embellished with a few clear sequins. For more dreamy background, I added spaltters of black paint and finished the card with a sentiment from Craftangles. I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by, see you soon :)
