Vintage Watercolor Thanks | Honey Bee Stamps

Hello! Today I'm here with a Vintage Watercolor Card made using Honey Bee Stamps. I used Repeat Pattern Stamping for my card and it is a one layer one too! :)

CARD DETAILS

I started by stamping the flowers repeatedly from Hello Gorgeous stamp set with Versafine Sepia ink. Next I water colored the flowers with Sakura Koi Water Colors. Later I added tiny drops of black paint.

Next stamped the sentiments from Hello Gorgeous and Happiness Stamp set in CP Midnight ink. Lastly I applied the same Versafine Sepia ink to the edges of the card for some vintagy effect.

I am entering this card for ABNH where the theme is 'water coloring'

Thank you for stopping by :)

Sending Birthday Wishes | Honey Bee Stamps

Hello everyone! I almost forgot to share the card that I made for Honey Bee Stamps (yep I was on their design team). Here is the super gorgeous floral card made using Happy Everything and Country Wreath stamp sets.

I took a white card stock masked off the top and bottom portions and ink blended the back ground with Spun Sugar and Antique Lenin Distress Inks.

Next I stamped all the beautiful flowers and leaves from Country Wreath stamp set in Archival Jet Black Ink on a piece of regular white card stock and water colored those images with Faber-castell Connector markers (VIDEO). Next I fussy cut all the images and adhered it as shown above.

Next I applied generous coat of Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen to the flowers. I made my custom colored card base by applying gold paint along the edges of the card base!

And adhered the floral panel on top of the card base and finished it off with clear sequins. And that's it. I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by. See you soon! :)

Friendship is Everything

Hello everyone! A few days back I shared this sweet friendship day card on Honey Bee Stamps Blog that features Happiness and Hello Gorgeous stamp sets, also I used my very favorite supplies – Woodgrain embossing folder and Circle Framelit Dies from Sizzix.

CARD DETAILS
  • I started by blending Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade and Peacock Feathers Distress ink over a piece of white card stock.
  • Next I placed the smallest of the circle framelit dies from Sizzix and ran it through the Bigshot Express Machine thrice resulting in three circles in pink, blue and orange colors, happy colors! yay!
  • Next I stamped the gorgeous image from Hello Gorgeous on a piece of white card stock with Archival Jet Black ink
  • I fussy cut the image with a pair of scissors and adhered over the circles as shown above
  • Next I took a card panel smaller than the main card base, stamped the sentiment from Happiness with Archival Jet Black ink and then embossed it with Woodgrain embossing folder

Honey Bee Stamps | Hi Sweetheart

Hello everyone! How are you guys doing? This week has been a really busy one for me, working on an upcoming event - Catherine Pooler's Stamp of Approval The Perfect Reason Collection. You will definitely love this collection for sure! You can learn more about this event HERE

Okay! If you follow Honey Bee Stamps blog you might have already seen my card. If you haven't then this one is for you! :)

I recently purchased a couple of Copic Markers in Prawn and Lipstick Red. These colors are very vibrant and the ink flow is really very smooth. Now I understand why people are crazy about these markers! I may add more markers to my collection in future, my idea is to have atleast two shades of color in each family. :)

CARD DETAILS

  • I took a standard sized white card stock and ink blended a tiny portion over the card with Chipped Sapphire. Spritzed some water and picked up the excess with a tissue paper.
  • Next I stamped the gorgeous floral image with antlers (Hello Gorgeous) on a piece of white card stock with Catherine Pooler’s Midnight ink.
  • I colored the few images with Prawn Copic Marker, fussy cut it with a pair of scissors.
  • Before adhering the stamped image onto the card base, I stamped the sentiment with the same black ink then adhered the stamped image right below the sentiment with foam tape
  • Finally finished off my card with a few star sequins and added wink of stella clear to the flowers.

I hope you like it. I'm entering this card for Simon Says: The Color Of Love. See you next time! :)

Honey Bee Stamps | Spread Love Wherever You Go

Hello everyone! How are you doing? Thank you so much for participating in my giveaway and I will announce the winners very soon. :)

I was up on Honey Bee Stamps blog a while ago with this beautiful floral card with a video. I really like stamping, ink blending, water coloring and fussy cutting. Though I am not very good with water colors I love to try, experiment and explore. I used Hello Gorgeous and Happiness Stamp Sets for my project.

Card Details

I started by stamping the flowers on a piece of white card stock with Archival Jet Black ink which is permanent, water proofed and fast drying. Next I water-colored the images with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink with water color brush pen. Once everything was dry I fussy cut all the images with a pair of scissors.

I have a card stock smaller than the main card base and ink distressed the background with Festive Berries Distress Ink with an Ink blending tool and round foam. To add more interest and depth I added splatters of water and black paint. Next I adhered all the flowers over the ink blended area with glue and foam tape and also adhered the sentiment strip over the floral cluster. Love that sentiment ‘Spread Love Wherever You Go’.. Finally I adhered a golden strip along the edge of the card base and adhered the main panel on top of it.

Video Details

I have filmed a video from start to finish where I explained everything in detail. Enjoy!

Modern One Layer Card with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello everyone! I was up on Honey Bee Stamps Blog a couple days back with this card made using Hello Gorgeous Stamp Set from their November release which I love the most. I have a few card designs right now running in my head, when time permits I will definitely share them with you all :)

This stamp set has got beautiful, one of a kind images that go perfectly with the sentiments that are already in the set. :) First I have chosen the stamps that should go on my card and then I went for colors. I decided to use only two colors – Aquamarine and Jet Black inks on my card.

CARD DETAILS :

I started by stamping the ‘hello’ sentiment in Aquamarine ink to create my own background. I didn’t want my stamping to be perfect so I didn’t concentrate much on stamping because that imperfection would help to bring that trendy look to your cards. Next I aligned the sentiments and stamped in Archival Jet Black Ink. To bring more depth to the card I added tiny splats of black paint followed by sequins.

VIDEO DETAILS :

I have filmed a video for you where I’m showing you everything in detail from start to finish

Thanks for stopping by, see you later! :)

Honey Bee Stamps - August 2016 Honey Hop

Hello Honey Bees! Welcome to the August release Honey Hop!!! If you arrived from Taniesa blog then you are on the right track!

All this week we have been showing you little sneaks of our awesome new stamp sets and dies! Tomorrow our new release goes live and to celebrate we are showing you some beautiful projects today!
In case you get lost, here is the blog hop order:
Deepti (you're here)
Lisa (next stop)

I created a couple of cards for this hop! Thank you so much Honey Bee Stamps for inviting me as your guest. :)

To make this card, I took a standard sized white card base and ink blended the background with grey ink and added tiny droplets of Black Soot Distress Ink. I used the beautiful Zen Florals for my card today.

My stamps are on the way, by the way! Mean while I used the digital file that the Honey Bee Stamps sent me! I took a print out and colored the florals with Grape Jelly Ink from Memento, Peacock Feathers and Antique Linen distress inks and added Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen.

Next I stamped the sentiment from Happy Everything Stamp set with Archival Jet Black Ink.

Then I fussy cut all the images and adhered them on top and bottom with the help of foam tape and finally added clear sequins.

Here is the second one and I used the same Zen Florals.

I took a standard sized card base and ink blended a tiny portion in the background with Mustard Seed Distress Ink and then added tiny droplets of Black Soot distress ink.

I then water-colored the images with Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Vintage Photo and Peeled Paint distress ink and adhered them in a cluster with the help of tombow glue!

Next I stamped the sentiment from the same Happy Everything stamp set with Archival Jet Black Ink and with a few clear sequins!

And that finishes the cards for today!

Your next stop is gorgeous Lisa.
