Self-doubt is one of the biggest enemies in my life. I used to self-doubt myself all the time like can I do it? or do I have to go there? am I beautiful? have I dressed properly? can I speak up? and list goes on. Because of this 'self-doubt' I've lost so many beautiful, lovely and valuable moments in my life. Unfortunately, I've shut the doors of opportunity which is ridiculous!

So this New Year I've decided to enjoy each and every moment of my life, take the opportunities that are at my door step and never have self-doubt because self-doubt ruins and kills everything. And this my first post for 2022 and I wish you all a very Happy and Blessed New Year. :)

Yes! I'm the child of God and I've created in His image. If God doesn't have self-doubt why should I ?

So this Junk Art Page is all about 'I am worth more than my self-doubts'. I made this page with scraps. And this art is something new to me!

I hope you like it. <3

Entering for Simon's Wednesday and Monday Challenges where the theme is 'Something New'

Hello everyone! Welcome back. The fruity birthday card you're seeing here was made using 'Summer Fruits' thinlit dies by Sizzix. The dies were die-cut with the help of Sizzix SideKick Machine. And the sentiment was gold embossed. Thanks for visiting. :)

Hello everyone! How are you all? I hope you are staying safe!

Today, I have a very cute watercolor card for you. Let's start..

  • I started by loose watercoloring the smaller panel with Craftangles Liquid Water Colors
  • Once it's dry, I added splatters of the same colors and a hint of black
  • On the other hand I stamped the deer from Amuse Studio in Archival Jet Black Ink and watercolored it
  • Once the deer image is dry, I fussy cut and foam mounted on the watercolor panel
  • Then I took a baby pink card stock by Sizzix, folded in half which comes to an A2 sized card
  • Over the main card base, I adhered the watercolor panel
  • I embellished the card with some shiny stars and glitter to the deer
  • Finally stamped the sentiment from Catherine Pooler Designs in Archival Jet Black Ink

And that finishes the card for today, I hope you like it. Thank you so much for visiting.

If you are interested in purchasing my cards or you want them in bulk, kindly mail to deeptistephens@gmail.com I will be happy to make cards for you! :)

Hello my dear crafty friends! How are you doing? I hope you're doing safe and sound. :)

Today I wanted to share a kind of Mixed Media Card with you all. The products I used will be listed here down below..
  1. Craftangles Countryside Paper Pack
  2. Craftangles Damask Delight Stencil
  3. Craftangles Silver Glimmer Paste
  4. Craftangles Ripe Plum Liquid Watercolor
  5. Sizzix Thinlit dies by Prima, Heavenly #2
  6. Neat and Tangled stamp for Catherine Pooler Designs
  7. Ranger Gold Embossing Powder
  8. Ranger Heat It Gun
  9. Versamark Ink
  10. Ranger Stardust stickles
  11. Papericious Gesso
  12. Black and Gold Inks
  13. Sizzix SideKick Machine
  14. Gold Glitter by Sizzix
  15. Acrylic 400 gsm Watercolor Paper

I started by applying Papericious Gesso on a pattern paper (Countryside by Craftangles) and placed the stencil (Damask Delight) and applied Silver Glimmer Paste through it. Once it's dry, I applied Ripe Plums water color over the stenciled part with the help of a paint brush. I also added splatters of black and gold inks.

On the other hand, I die-cut the butterfly by Sizzix, I used watercolor paper for diecutting and the diecutting part was done with the help of Sizzix Sidekick machine. I watercolored the butterfly with the same Ripe Plums ink and applied Gold Glitter to it.

I stamped 'thanks' on a scrap paper with Versafine Ink and heat embossed with Gold embossing powder. Now it's time to assemble everything! The pattern paper with Gesso and Stenciled part was adhered on 4 1/2 x 5 inch card. I foam mounted the butterfly on the card front, beneath that a gold thread was adhered. Then foam mounted the sentiment as well.

And that's all for today. I hope you like it. Thank you so much for stopping by. #stayhomestaycreative

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another challenge at CASology where the cue word is 'hello'. This is such an easy word to interpret!! Don't throw your scraps away, you can make many beautiful cards, tags and anything with them. I made these cards, one standard sized and the other two 3x3 note cards, using scraps. And the cute dogs and the speech bubble with 'hello' was hand drawn and hand written. Do you have the habit of saving your scraps, do let me know in the comment section. I hope you like them and also please don't forget to play along the challenges. Kindly do visit the challenge blog for more details and my fellow DT members for more inspiration! :)
