100% HANDMADE | MERRY CHRISTMAS CARD | VIDEO

Hello everyone! How are you all? It's been so many days since I posted a card here. I was busy with family issues, that's the main reason behind my absence. I missed this crafting community so much! I can't promise you that I'll post regularly but I'll try my best. :)

I never tried working on Hot Pressed Watercolor Paper but now I fell in love with it. The water color results are just amazing. Now I prefer Hot Pressed to Cold Pressed. :D By the way I used Brustro Hot pressed Water Color Paper.

You know how much I love doodling!! I'm not very perfect and I don't want to be perfect also, I just feel relaxed and energized with my silly imperfect doodles! :) I used Camlin Brush Pens to watercolor the image.

Look at that handwriting!! :) Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen are the best!

CARD MAKING DETAILS

  1. I started by scribbling the Camlin watercolor brush pens on an acrylic block, added water and then stamped the acrylic block on hot pressed water color paper.
  2. Then I doodled the image with black permanent marker and water colored the images with Camlin water color brush pens.
  3. Fussy cut the image and adhered over the card front and the sentiment was hand written with Sakura Gelly Roll Pen on a black card stock.

SQUIGGLY DOODLING

Hello my dear friends! I'm a very fond of doodling. In my spare time or the times when I am depressed or stressed out I doodle a lot. I blabbered a lot about doodling HERE in the blog post. And also you can find 100% handmade cards HERE and HERE. Do check it out, it's fun!

I hand drew all the images on a white card stock, colored them with Copic Markers, fussy cut and adhered over the main card base. To the card base, I added stripes with the Copic Marker and added tiny black dots with a black permanent marker. :)

Do you like my squiggly art? I'm entering this card for CASology Week 302: SQUIGGLE, CAS-ual Fridays CFC #200 - Birthday Celebration, AAAcards CAS Game #116 - The 4th Big Birthday Bash and SSS Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes.

100% HANDMADE CARDS | SIMPLE MOTHER'S DAY CARDS | VIDEO

Hello everybody! I'm back with another 100% handmade cards. I didn't use any fancy supplies to make these cards, just some card stock, water colors, black marker, scissors and glue! That's it! :)

Whenever I feel bored, I doddle or paint patterns. This is my favourite pattern! I painted with school water colors and let the papers dry. This time I went with more pastel shades. These colors are so soothing to the eyes in this hot summer!

Next I doodled a very simple flower, anybody can draw it! LOL! Then I fussy cut it and adhered all the panels with glue. That sentiment was hand written, so bad! :P

And that's all for today. I hope you like them. :)
WATCH & ENJOY

I've made a video for you from start to finish. I hope you like it! :) Thank you for visiting.

100% HANDMADE CARDS | DOODLING

When I first started my crafty journey I had no stamps or inks! I dreamt of stamps, inking them and stamping and etc. Oh! I would never forget those days! And now I have a very decent amount of stamps and inks and other supplies which I never dreamt of and I am very grateful to GOD for all his blessings and I am thankful to all the lovely and beautiful people who had filled my stash with their beautiful RAKs :)

When I don't have any DT or GDT or other commitments I doodle to relieve my stress levels. Not a little doodling, a lot. I always carry heavy weight white card stocks and pouch full of coloring mediums with me where ever I go. I first start with a pencil, then trace it with black permanent marker and then color it in with my favourite coloring medium.

Inspiration is everywhere! I easily get inspired by everything! LOL! I write down my ideas, sketches, colors and inspiration in a book and then I implement it on my cards. A few work and a few doesn't!

I love being simple and my simplicity reflects on my cards. This time I tried a little Calligraphy too. My husband is my best critic, as soon as he saw it, he said 'wow! good job'. So he liked my calligraphy skills (hehe) too. And I was like 'meh' (just kidding)

Once the doodling and coloring part was done, I fussy cut all the images and place in a book or in a box. Whenever I feel like 'no mojo or bored or depressed' I open the book/box and lay them on my desk and watch them for few minutes. I appreciate myself for the job that I've done! LOL! Sometimes we have to love ourselves, encourage ourselves, appreciate ourselves and push ourselves, Right?

I watch a lot of YouTube videos! My favourite thing to do while watching videos is doodling or embroidering. The lady who constantly inspires me is Sea Lemon and this wood pattern idea was from hers!

I am very fond of fox images, I don't know why!? When I was a kid I very much loved seeing the books and cartoons which had Scandinavian Patterns and Russian Folk Art designs. That impact had on me and till date if I see something like that my heart just skips! LOL..

Hmmn.. I think that's enough for today, LOL! So these are 100% HANDMADE CARDS and I love making them! :D

I hope you like these cards. If you want to see more like this let me know, I would like to share with you!

Thank you for visiting! :)

DOODLES AND WATERCOLORS

Hello everyone! Today I have a fun post to share with you all. As my hubby is down with Dengue Fever, I don't have enough time to craft. So all I'm doing was sitting next to him, doodle and water color. This way I can spend more time with him and have a noise free house.. LOL.. I have shared all these doodles on my Instagram feed but I wanted to share here too :)

I didn't use any traditional water color paper instead I used Iris card stock. I got a little frustrated when the water color was applied first to the paper because the water was not soaking into the paper but I liked how the water took some time to merge into the paper. I am quite impressed with the result! Such a cool cartoony effect which I love the most :)

To doodle my images, I use a regular CD marker which is easily available in the market. Once the penciling part was done, I'll go ahead and doodle again on those pencil marks with this marker.

To erase all those pencil lines I used a regular eraser.. See.. I don't use any fancy material at all..

I must say, I invested a little in water colors and yet I need to buy a few more. But I am quite happy with my Koi water colors. So all I want to say is 'I am a beginner, I love what I am doing and I never stop to learn and experiment' ;) Thanks for visiting!

Doodled Flower!

Hello everyone! I shared this pic on my social media and was very thrilled to see so many likes and comments for this post the other day. I thought why not share this card here and fortunately, the cue word for CASology is Doodle this week. As you guys already know that how much I love doodling!! :) So this flower was hand drawn with a black permanent marker, colored with distress inks - Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint and  Picked Raspberry - I combined these colors for the brown shade! And stamped the sentiment from Lawn Fawn with Black Soot Distress ink.

I hope you like it. Thank you so much for stopping by, take care and I'll see you soon :)
