Sending You Sunshine | Video

In India, the Summer has already started and the temperature today at the place where I live is 38°C.. phew!! So I would like to send some Sunshine to my foreign friends who are still experiencing snow fall. You know you guys are really lucky! Wish I live in cool place like yours! :)

CARD DETAILS

Last night I made a card with the pink flowers, I loved it and I wanted to share a video with you as soon as I woke up! - Gerbera Blooms, Party Dress, Rockin' Red, Flirty Fuchsia. By the way the stamp set I used is from Mudra, the inks from Catherine Pooler and the designer foil is from Clear Snap.

I took a side folded/landscape white card stock (I usually buy my card stock from a local stationary store, I use it for almost all the techniques because it is really heavy and sturdy) and stamped the first layer of the flower with Tiki Torch, followed by Orange Twist and Tutti Frutti.

Layering these stamps is so much easy and fun. You can eyeball it and stamp it. For the leaves I used - Lime Rickey and Grass Skirt. I slightly overlapped and stamped the leaves over the floral images as it adds a beautiful artistry look for my card.

I stamped the sentiment (from the same stamp set) with Midnight Ink. Once all the stamping part was done, I added tiny dots of glue on the center of my flower. I let it dry for a minute or so or till it becomes a little tacky. Then I placed the gold foil over the glue and burnished it with my fingers and bone folder. There you'll have it, beautiful gold foiled image! I am very new to gold foiling so if I made any mistakes kindly excuse me! :)

I just love the over all look of my card - the layers, the colors, the foiling oh! I am so satisfied with the results. :)

VIDEO DETAILS

I have filmed a video for you where I have shared the whole process in detail. I hope you'll enjoy watching my video. :)

May the Joy you give follow you always | Sizzix

Hello everyone! Today I'm here with a very bright, cheerful and beautiful card! For this card I used Wild Flowers and Free Bird thinlits dies from Sizzix.co.uk.

CARD DETAILS

I see some beautiful flowers in my neighbourhood and the inspiration for this card came from them! I always wanted to have some plants in my balcony (I have a very small one) but I am afraid that I might kill them by not taking good care of them. :( But I wish one day I will get them soon! :)

I die-cut all the images from white card stock by running it through the Bigshot Express Machine. I am very much deeply in love with my Koi Water Colors as I always tend to use them mostly on every project! So I used those water colors for this card also.

I took a card panel and applied light wash of blue pigment and I let the panel dry completely. Once everything was dry I adhered all the images with Tombow Glue and stamped the sentiment from Mudra - Doodled Elements with CP's Midnight Ink

And for the finishing touch I added Stardust stickles to the flowers and bird and also added three sparkling sequins to complete my card :)

And that's the card for today and I hope you like it. I am entering this card for Simon Says: Things With Wings and Simon Says: Anything Goes

This lovely stamp set is from Altenew - Way too sweet, I added the faces to the cupcakes from Lawn Fawn - Pizza my heart stamp set. They complement one another so well! :)

Next I stamped the cupcakes from Altenew- way too sweet with CP's Midnight ink and water colored them with Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed Distress Ink. The Spiced Marmalade is looking yellowy in the pictures but it's more orange in real life!

I stamped the hearts with CP's Rockin' Red Ink onto the card base. Then I fussy cut the cupcakes and adhered it onto the card stock with Tombow Glue. Added a lot of shimmer to the hearts and cupcakes with Clear Wink of stella.

Combining Bold and Unusual Color Combos Ft. Catherine Pooler Inks | Giveaway (CLOSED)

Hello everyone! I am here today with a card with very bold colors. I'm not very good at combining bold and unusual color combos but being a crazy card maker I thought I should give it a try and thought I shouldn't be afraid of using colors!!It's more like experimenting and having fun and seeing the things would work or not! In my case, I am 100% happy about this card because it came out gorgeous, right! ;)

CARD DETAILS

I used Catherine Pooler Party Collection Inks for my project. I wanted to show you the versatility of these inks for a while now and finally I got the chance to showcase these inks! You can try out a lot more techniques with these inks but today I will be focusing on 'Ink Smooshing Technique'. I used Tiki Torch, Tutti Frutti, Something Borrowed, Rockin' Red and Flirty Fuchsia. All these inks are bold and vibrant! :)

To save my time I have already die-cut the images. The peacock is from Paisley Peacock and the leaves are from The Perfect Leafy Vines die sets. I ink smooshed the background with Rockin' Red, the Peacock with Something Borrowed and Flirty Fuchsia, combining these two colors will give a gorgeous Purpley blue! and the leaves with Tiki Torch and Tutti Frutti.

I adhered all the die-cuts on my card front with Tombow Glue and also added gold pigment paint for the die-cuts for some interest. Finally finished the card off with the sentiment from Everyday Mod stamp set and sequins.

VIDEO DETAILS

And that is the card for today and I hope you like it. I have filmed a video for you showing you the entire process on how I put this card together. I hope you'll enjoy watching the video!

Sizzix | You're Delightful!

Hello! I usually love using white colored card stocks for my projects but I am experimenting and having fun with other things lately! You will understand what I was blabbering about in my upcoming projects. :)

CARD DETAILS

I went a little purple today! I took a white card stock and ink blended the background with Seedless Preserves Distress Ink. Did you notice that halo effect in the background? It is very easy to create, you can watch my video on how I made it.

I flicked tiny droplets of water with a paint brush to achieve that splotchy background! Next I die-cut the Fanciful Fairy by running through the Bigshot Express Machine. And water colored the fairy with Broken China Distress Ink.

Next I adhered the fairy not entirely flat on the panel but with a little dimension. I didn't apply glue to her wings, skirt and legs. I bend them a little with my fingers for some dimension! I adhered a few tiny little stars for some magical effect.

Finally applied the Stardust Stickles onto her body, stamped the sentiment with Versamark Ink on a purple card stock and heat embossed it in White Zing Embossing powder  and adhered the whole panel on a purple card base. :)

Ruff Day?

Happy Monday my dear friends and I wish you all have a smooth sailing day!! :)

CARD DETAILS

I took a card panel slightly smaller than the main card base, placed sizzix oval framelit die and ran it through the Big Shot Express Machine. Onto the main card base I water colored the rainbow background with Koi Water Colors. Next stamped the doggies from Woof stamp set from Neat and Tangled and colored them in unusual colors. Please excuse my poor coloring skills!!! :P

I arranged the doggies as if they were peeping through the window! Finally stamped the sentiment from the same set with CP's Midnight Ink and adhered the sequins!! And that's it!!

Thanks for visiting! :)

Cherish

I love using black and gold color combo on my cards and this combo never goes wrong! If you want to create an elegant looking card try this combo and I promise that you'll never regret trying it!! :)

Check my previous card with this color combo - here, here, here and here

CARD DETAILS

I started by stamping the Small Open Flower from Hero Arts in Versamark Ink and dusted it off with Biscotti Perfect Pearls. I masked off the flower, stamped and repeated the process again until I am happy with the result! To set the Perfect Pearls I spritzed some water and let the panel dry completely.

Finally stamped the sentiment from Best Wishes from Hero Arts in Versamark Ink and again dusted it off with perfect pearls. Once everything was dry and ready, I water-colored the inside part of the flowers with Egyptian Gold Pigment Ink from ColorArte and also flicked and sprayed the gold ink in the background. Finally I finished the card off with a few clear sparkling sequins! :)

Thanks for stopping by. Take care, bye! :)
