KISS ME CARD | PAPER SMOOCHES

Hello everyone! This card is for few challenges and the card design was inspired by one of my previous cards. This is a one layer card which involves Masking, Stamping, Ink Blending and Coloring. This card would be perfect for beginners and this card would definitely bring a smile to someone you love! ;)

CARD DETAILS

I started by Masking the 1/3rd portion on the card with a washi tape, stamped the frog from Paper Smooches with Memento Ink which is alcohol friendly. Then Masked the frog off and ink blended the background with Peeled Paint Distress Ink. Then I colored the image with Sizzix Markers and finished the card with a sentiment. To create more interest to the card I added splatters of black ink and Stardust Stickles to the pouty lips of the frog! LOL!

I'm in Love!

Hello everyone! Well.. Last night I squeezed in sometime to make cards for a few challenges. This week is a kind of free week for me but I have a few DT posts and videos coming up though! Anyway, I wanted to play along with a few challenges and hence I made this card for Virginia's View Challenge #24 - Focal Point.

I find this challenge very interesting, I used the stamp and card design that was in my stash and design book respectively for quite sometime! Finally I was able to make this card! :D

Making this card was so simple! I started by stamping the image from Paper Smooches on a piece of card stock and water colored it with water based markers. Next I ink blended certain area on my card stock with Black Soot Distress Ink and later added tiny droplets of Black Soot ink with a paint brush. Next stamped the sentiment and adhered the washi tape for some interest.

Thanks for visiting! See you soon :)

Perfectly imperfect!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a blessed Sunday! Today I'm sharing a card which is Perfectly imperfect. Such a crazy design, you know! I took a bunch of winter critters from 'Chilly Chums', stamped and masked (masking, stamping and sponging are my favourite techniques) them and water-colored them with Camlin Brush Markers. I had a blast while coloring these images! By the way, the patterned paper I used is from the brand new Sizzix Bigshot Plus Starter Kit (My Life Handmade).

I'm entering this card for Paper Smooches August challenge: FRIENDSHIP Rangajali August Challenge and Simon Says: Let’s Go Wild. Thank you so much for stopping by. Take care!

Red Fox!

Hi everyone! This card is for Paper Smooches September 27- October 3 Designer Drafts challenge. I created this fall scene with distress inks - spiced marmalade, mustard seed and peeled paint. The leaves that are falling aren't the maple leaves, they are 'holly leaves' and I think they look really cool in the background just like fall leaves. I colored the fox with festive berries and antique linen distress inks. And stamped the sentiment with archival jet black ink.

I hope you like it. Thanks so much for stopping by. See you soon.. :)

Bunnies!

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing great! I made this card for Paper Smooches August 30- September 5 Anything Goes (wk5) challenge. I did a lot of masking on this card! And the frame thing - was inspired by May's card.

How I colored the bunnies?
Simple, you know, I just reversed the stamp (the details of the stamp facing the acrylic block), inked up the solid area and then stamped on to the image. That's how I got that interesting coloring but some how I think these bunnies are a little creepy!

I hope you like it. Thank you so much for stopping by. See you soon.. :)

Skull Caps

Hey! Here is the fun card made for Paper Smooches Sparks August 23-29 Designer Drafts challenge, Casology WEEK 161: PLAID and Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Challenge. I used the cap/skull cap stamp from Chilly Chums Stamp set. I did a lot of masking and colored them with my regular color pencils from Camel and gave a few details like dots, stripes and plaid with black permanent marker.  I flipped the sketch upside down and I hope you like it.. :)

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon.. :)

Funky water coloring.

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great weekend. Mine was a little busy asusual, filming videos, editing them and making cards but I'm also having some quality time with my family. I just had a cup of coffee. What about you?

I made this card for Paper Smooches Sparks June 14-20 Picture Perfect challenge and trust me I had a lots of fun while making this card. I simply watercolored the funny images. I simply stamped the Kangaroo from Little Lovin stamp set with broken china and mustard seed distress inks and water colored the kangaroos with the same colors! Finally stamped the sentiment from Chilly Chums and dusted it off with Perfect pearls. And also used a golden string, flicked some brushed pewter distress stain  and adhered sequins from Lawn Fawn to  finish off my card.

(I see blue, yellow and white colors and some animal too in the inspiration pic)

There is a video on 'NO LINE COLORING' coming out your way very soon, so stay tuned!

Thanks!

Sending you laughter!

Hi everyone, I'm back with a cute card, using masking and stamping technique, for CASual Fridays CFC140 and Paper Smooches May 31- June 6 Anything Goes (wk5) challenge . First I stamped the pot, watercolored it with Faber castell pencils and masked it, then stamped the penguin. This gives an illusion that the penguin is standing behind the flower pot. ;) Then stamped the flower on some scrap paper and colored it with neon marker. Finally added a neony strip just to compliment the color of the flower. I hope you like this card. Take care and I'll see you soon.. :)

Motion Stamping!

Heya dear friends! I made this card for Paper Smooches Sparks May 24-30 Designer Drafts Challenge. I used a stamping technique called 'Motion Stamping'.. :)

This is a top fold landscape card. To make this card, I took Neenah Solar White Cardstock and flicked the background with black watercolor paint. I then took an-other piece of cardstock and drew a slanted line and stamped the penguin first and without re-inking the stamp, I stamped a little off set again and again! Finally stamped the 'hello' sentiment and that's it my card was done!

Hope you like it. Take care and I'll see you next time.. ;)

Froggy is in love!!

(I'm inspired by the wooden texture, pink flowers and green color and green leaves)

To make this card, I took a wood grain pattern paper from 'Papericious Wooden Collection', hand drew the fence with pencil and fussy cut it and kept it aside. Then took a piece of scratch paper and water smooshed it with 'Peeled Paint Distress Ink'. Then I kept it aside to dry. I then took another scratch paper and smooshed again with 'Peeled Paint Distress Ink'. I then kept it aside to dry.

While these papers were drying, I stamped the frog from 'Paper Smooches Little Lovin' stampset in 'Archival Jet Black Ink' and colored him with 'Fabercastell Connector Pens'. And stamped the hearts from the same stamp set and colored few with pink pen and few with green just to resemble as flowers and leaves. I then assembled all together and adhered to a standard sized top folding card. :)

Hope you like this card. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment. Take care and I'll see you soon.. :)

Pregnant Friends!

Hey hi dear friends! Today I'm presenting you three Pregnant Friends!.. :D Aren't they cute! One kangaroo is going to have a baby girl, one is going to have a baby boy and the other one is going to have twins. You can easily find it by the color of the heart that is stuck to their tummies.. ;)

I made this card for Paper Smooches May 3-9 Anything Goes (wk1) Challenge. To make this card I took a standard sized regular cardstock, stamped and masked the kangaroos and one kangaroo was reverse stamped. And then watercolored the lower portion of the card with 'Peeled Paint Distress Ink'. I then watercolored the hearts and Kangaroos with 'Fabercastell connector pens'. And finally stamped the sentiment in 'Archival jet black ink'. :)

Hope you like this card. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment. Take card and I'll see you soon.. :)

Love Carrots.. ;)

Hello dear friends.. I'm back with a fun card made for Paper Smooches Spark April 26- May 2 Designer Drafts challenge and Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge. Since I've got only one stamp called 'A little lovin' from Paper Smooches, I always experiment and try to make something different and fun with these stamps.. ;)

To make this card I first took a piece of water color paper and distressed and water colored it with 'Vintage Photo distress ink'. Then  I took another panel which is slightly smaller than the main card base and distressed it again with 'Broken China Distress Ink'. Then Stamped the bunny on to some piece of scratch paper in 'Archival Jet Black Ink' and colored him in 'Grey Faber castell pen'. I then also stamped a few carrots and colored them 'Faber Castell pens'. I made a tiny slit on the water color paper and stuck the bunny and carrots.. Finally hand drew those clouds and adhered on to the panel and also stamped the sentiment in a fun way!

I just flipped the sketch.. :)

So that is it. Hope you like it. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment. See you soon.. ;)
