'DEER' THANKS CARD

Hello everyone! How are you all? I hope you are staying safe!

Today, I have a very cute watercolor card for you. Let's start..

CARD MAKING DETAILS

  • I started by loose watercoloring the smaller panel with Craftangles Liquid Water Colors
  • Once it's dry, I added splatters of the same colors and a hint of black
  • On the other hand I stamped the deer from Amuse Studio in Archival Jet Black Ink and watercolored it
  • Once the deer image is dry, I fussy cut and foam mounted on the watercolor panel
  • Then I took a baby pink card stock by Sizzix, folded in half which comes to an A2 sized card
  • Over the main card base, I adhered the watercolor panel
  • I embellished the card with some shiny stars and glitter to the deer
  • Finally stamped the sentiment from Catherine Pooler Designs in Archival Jet Black Ink

And that finishes the card for today, I hope you like it. Thank you so much for visiting.

If you are interested in purchasing my cards or you want them in bulk, kindly mail to deeptistephens@gmail.com I will be happy to make cards for you! :)

WISHING YOU LOVE AND JOY THIS HOLIDAY SEASON, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

Hello everyone! We are at the end of the year! We have faced so many hurdles, ups and downs! I wish 2021 would be of great joy, health and prosperity. I wish you all very happy and blessed New Year. Stay Home and Stay safe and Stay crafty. :)

The above card was made for the Craftangles Challenge where the theme is Red, Green or White. I used Neighbourhood Stencil, Happy Holidays Stamp Set, Merry Christmas 6x6 paper pack and some Liquid Watercolors by Craftangles. I was very much inspired by Monalisa's project and colors really caught me.

CARD MAKING DETAILS

  1. I started by placing the stencil and tracing the outlines with a pencil on a white card stock which is slightly smaller than the main card base.
  2. Then I went ahead and watercolored the houses with Salmon, trees with Evergreen and Lime light Liquid water colors by Craftangles. I gave a light wash to the sky with Pool Side Liquid Water color again by Craftangles.
  3. Once everything is dry, I added splatters of Gesso for the snowfall effect and distressed the sides of the card front with Sizzix Multi Tool.
  4. I stamped the sentiment from Happy Holidays stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
  5. Onto the main card base, I adhered a pattern paper from Merry Christmas Collection that matches my design.
  6. Finally I adhered the card front over the card base and embellished with some stars.

I hope you like the card. Thank you so much for stopping by. Take care and I'll see you next year. :)
