CRAFTANGLES JULY BLOG HOP - ALTERED ART / MIXED MEDIA

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Craftangles July Blog Hop where the theme is Altered Art and Mixed Media. I chose Mixed Media because I don't know how to alter an item :P

I have pictorial for this project.. Enjoy! :)

Take a 6x6 heavy weight or water color card stock and apply some acrylic colors in the shades of blue just to mimic under ocean.

Mix Paper Texture Paste from Craftangles with Green acrylic paint and mix well. Here as you can see, I'm being very messy! :)

Now apply the paste through the stencil.

Dab the Texture Paste at the bottom to mimic the sand.

Also add splatters of white acrylic paint and let it dry completely.

Meanwhile, stamp the cute images from By the Sea Side stamp set with Alcohol Friendly Ink and color in the images with Alcohol Markers. Fussy cut it and keep aside.

Once the texture paste dries, add the details to the leaves with Green Marker.

Finally adhere the images with Tacky Glue and stamp the sentiment with Archival Jet Black Ink.

a few more close up shots for you

And that's the project for today. I hope you like it.
