Modern Love Card #2

Hello friends! Today I'm here with a 'Modern Love Card #2', if you want to see me first card please click here..

I've only this stampset from Neat and Tangled and I used the stamps which are in circles to create my card. I used the back portion of the notebook print stamp to create that solid pattern on the card. I used Memento inks to stamp the images..

Hand Painted Scene..

Hello crafters!! Welcome back again. Today I'm here with a hand painted scene card, this is my first attempt and I really love the result. I'll be sharing a step by step photo tutorial on how I made this card!

 

 

So first I drew a cloud shaped image and that would be my tree top, cut it out and I created my own stencil and mask. Then I secured it with washi tapes on a piece of water color paper. 

 

 

I first went tapping the larger paint brush with Mustard Seed distress ink, then with Spiced Marmalade with a medium sized brush and finally Faber Castell red ink with the smallest brush. Once it dry covered the tree part with the cloud mask.. :)

 

Then I used Broken China and Peacock feather distress inks for the back ground, used Frayed Burlap distress ink for the tree trunk..

And finally stamped the sentiment from Technique Tuesday and adhered a tiny red heart.. :)

Giraffe Love..

Hello dear friends! Welcome back to my little space! Today I'm sharing a cute and fun card and I think it is perfect for Valentine's Day. And also I'll be sharing a few tricks on how to create a 'lady giraffe' and their eyes below in the pics.. ;)

So first I stamped the giraffes from 'Avery Elle's What's Up' set on some pattern papers. And these papers are from Simple stories and doodle bug. 

Next I wanted to have a lady giraffe, so to create one I simply fussy cut it leaving the parts that are in the red box..

So here they are!!! ;)

 

I have paper pieced them and look at their eyes! I drew circles and created the lashes for the lady, and it's just like that they are seeing each other in a fascinating manner.. :D ;)

And also I paper pieced the clouds, I just bent the sentiment on an acrylic block and stamped it in Versafine black onyx ink.. And for the back ground I used the papers from 'Snap Card Travel theme collection' and 'Studio Calico Print Shop collection'. Punched out few hearts and adhered to the card front. And that's it!! Isn't it SO adorable!! <3 <3

Just a note!

Welcome back friends! I made this card for Runway Inspired Challenge ric #75 Ralph Lauren, Inkspirational #73 word prompt Note and Virginia's View Challenge #11, Clean Slate..

I took a watercolor paper, added some water to it with the help of a paint brush. Then I dabbed Picked Raspberry Distress Ink on to the acrylic block, picked up the color with the paint brush and added to the water that is on the watercolor paper. As soon as I added the ink, the water and the ink started moving around and created that pretty background!

I then took a piece of  a regular cardstock, hand drew the leaf/quill, colored it with Danube Memento Ink, fussy cut it and adhered on to the card stock using foam tape. I then stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts in Versafine black ink. Finally embellished with pearls and blings and added clear stickles to the leaf/quill.. ;)

Due Date..

Hi friends! When I first saw the cue word at CASology Week 128, (where the cue word is 'date'),the first thing that hit my mind was 'due date'! No! I'm not pregnant!!! Just wanted to make something really nice!! I hand drew everything in this card and it' is a one layered.. The lady with the baby bump was inspired by one of the google images.. ;)

Modern Love Card!

Hi everyone!! I wish you all a very happy and prosperous New Year 2015. I hope you all had a wonderful day... :)

Today I'm here with a modern love card. To make this card I used felt, attached on Studio Calico wood veneers, stamped 'XOXO' and 'mwah' from Avery Elle using Archival Jet Black ink.. For the back ground I used dot stamp from WE R and stamped using Hero Arts Neon inks, also used bubble wrap, black twine and some black water color paint.. I Stamped 'Just a note' from Hero Arts and added 'Lawn Fawn' sequins here and there.. :)

I think this design would be perfect for teenage lovers.. ;)
