THANKS A TON CARD | SIZZIX

Hello my dear crafty friends, how are you? I have a very cute card to share with you all. Let's start!

Please visit sizzix.co.uk for more inspiration and education.

This card features

  1. Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 9PK - Free Style Florals
  2. Sizzix Sidekick Starter Kit (White & Gray)
  3. Sizzix Accessory – Permanent Pens, 12PK (Assorted Colours)
CARD MAKING DETAILS

I started by die-cutting one of the dies from Free Style Florals in white card stock with the help of Sizzix Side Kick Machine.

Next I colored the die-cuts with the shades of green markers by Sizzix.

I stamped these cuties in Memento Black ink which is an alcohol friendly ink, and simply colored them with Sizzix markers

I added cheeks with light pink marker

and added highlights with white gel pen.

Then I took another panel which is smaller than the main card base and distressed with Broken China Distress Ink with the help of ink blending tool and foam.

I adhered all the images with Tacky Glue.

And finally stamped the sentiment on a piece of card stock and fussy cut it and adhered over the card front.

A few more shots for you

And that's all for today. I hope you like it. Thank you so much for stopping by today. See you soon! :)

CASOLOGY CHALLENGE #360 | CRYSTAL | PICTORIAL

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another challenge at CASology where the cue word is 'Crystal'. I hope you all would play along the challenge and have fun ;)

CARD MAKING DETAILS

I started by watercoloring the background of a standard sized white card with Koi Water Colors.

I also added splatters of black paint to enhance the beauty of the card design.

I stamped the Crystal image and sentiment from Creative Retreat in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink directly on the watercolor background. An uncolored image looks very appealing on a busy background.

Finally I embellished the card with Crystal Stars by Lucy's Little Things. Yep! This is a 'one layer card'.

A few more shots for you

I hope you like it. Thank you so much for visiting me today. See you soon.. :)

I started by die-cutting the beautiful flower and details thinlit dies from Free Style Florals with white card stock by running through the Side Kick Machine.

To add the gredient of color, I colored the flower with Red and Pink permanent pens.

and the details of flower with shades of brown.

Here is the result. I like how the colors blend beautifully,

I chose this beautiful pattern paper to compliment that beautiful flower.

I distressed the edges with Sizzix Accessory - Multi-Tool.

I added sequins to ehnace the beauty of the card design.

CASOLOGY CHALLENGE | REPEAT

Hello everyone! Today is my very first day and this is the first post for CASology Challenge where the cue word is 'Repeat'. I'm so happy that I'm finally a team member of my favourite challenge blog. :D

CARD MAKING DETAILS

For my today's card I used the Wonky Triangle Stencil and Perfect Blend Stamp Set, It's a Boy Ink, Be Mine Ink and Something Borrowed Ink by Catherine Pooler Designs.

I placed the stencil on a standard sized card base and applied Be Mine Ink through the stencil with the help of an ink blending tool.

I wanted that 'Repeat' pattern only at the centre of the card. Beautiful design is revealed when the stencil is removed.

I took a few stamps from Perfect Blend Stamp Set. This is almost a one layer card. I thought these stamps would do justice to the card design.

I stamped the mug with It's a boy ink then added detail with Something Borrowed ink and the coffee with Versafine Sepia Ink.

I also stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set and fussy cut the images and kept aside.

I added tiny black ink splatters to pull the overall card design.

I foam mounted the images and I watercolored the ground for the mug.

A few shots for you..

And that's all for today. I hope you like it and I hope you guys would take part along the challenges. Have fun dear friends. :)
