COFFEE STAINED CARD | SIZZIX LIFESTYLE | VIDEO

Recently I've learned how to stain papers. I'm loving that old and vintagy look lately. So I went into my kitchen, brew some Coffee Decoction and stored into a plastic cup. It's easy to apply the decoction to your projects with a paint brush or sponge brush.

I applied decoction to the projects and sped up the drying process with a heat it tool. I applied second coat to the songbird die-cut for some rustic look. I actually feel that it looks like wood veneer, right?

Next I adhered the papers with Tacky Glue and popped up the die-cut with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from Mudra in Versafine Sepia Ink and finished the card with a few golden sequins from Mudra.

And that is the card for today and I hope you like it. I have also made a video for you, Enjoy! :)

I reversed the stamp and stamped onto the paper with It's a Girl, Tiara and Sweet Sixteen, Mint to be and Melon Ice Inks. Later I stamped the outline portion of the same stamp in Midnight Ink. I fussy cut it and kept it aside. And the pretty flowers are from Beautiful You stamp set.

Onto the main card base I stamped one of the borders from Yay Stripes at the very bottom of the card with Midnight Ink.

Next I took another panel smaller than the main card base and adhered the flowers and leaves as shown above. Finally I finished the card by stamping the sentiment from Beautiful You Stamp Set in Midnight Ink

And that's all for today. Thanks so much for visiting. Take care and I will see you next time! :)

Hey hi everyone! How are you doing? It's been a while, right! ;) so today I have a very simple yet classy Christmas Card for you!

DIY HOLIDAY CARD WITH COPICS AND WATERCOLORS

I think I  am very much obsessed with these row of houses! I just love drawing these again and again. You can check my previous posts HERE and HERE.

First, I drew all the houses with pencil and went over it with Black Permanent Marker and I erased all the lines with an eraser.

Then I colored in the houses with W5, R24 and R29 Copic Markers. Next I fussy cut it and kept it aside!

I took another panel slightly smaller than the main card base and applied a wash of blue water color from Koi Water Colors. Once it's dry, I adhered the house panel over it.

Next I added splashes of white paint from the same Koi water colors to resemble the snow.

Next I handwritten the sentiment and applied Star Dust Stickles for some extra interest.

I hope you like my card and I hope you enjoyed watching the video. Thank you so much for visiting. Take care and I will see you next time! :)

CUTE HOLIDAY CARDS | A MUSE STUDIO

Recently I've shared these pencil colored images on my Instagram feed. They were just lying on my desk. Last night I fussy cut them and placed them in my Trinket Box. In the morning I made two cards with these images. I used Faber-Castell color pencils to color my images.

These cute stamps are from A Muse Studio called Forest Friends. I used one of the Sizzix Rectangular framelit dies to die-cut my smaller panel. I ink blended Peacock Feathers Distress Ink over that die-cut panel and adhered all the cuties with Tacky Glue. Finally splashed snow with Picket Fence Distress Paint and finished the card by stamping the sentiment from the same stamp set.

This is almost a single layer card!? I die-cut the grass border with Grass die by A Muse Studio and adhered onto my card front along with the images. Finally finished the card by stamping the sentiment from Forest Friends.

I didn't have any Christmas or holiday related stamps and dies from Hero Arts and SSS. I hope you like these cards. I'm entering these cards for A Blog Named Hero Challenge: Winter Holiday with Simon Says Stamp. Thank you :)

TRINKET BOX | DIY | SIZZIX LIFESTYLE

Hello hello everyone! I am so happy that we have entered the season of Love, Happiness and Kindness! Today I am here with a DIY project made using almost with scraps from my stash. It's a Trinket Box! I always wanted to make a project like this finally I am here with it. It is not perfect but I like it though!

Products from Sizzix Lifestyle

PROJECT DETAILS

I started by cutting down the card board pieces and adhered the pattern paper from Papericious. Next I applied a coat of Egyptian Gold Pigment Paint to the edges and rubbed randomly over it.

I adhered a strip as shown above for the easy opening and closing mechanism. It wasn't that good but the over all look of the box is cool.

I die-cut the leaves from Holiday Greens, Garden Greens and Meadow Leaves out of a few scrap papers and applied a coat of gold pigment paint. I adhered all the leaves forming a wreath.

I also die-cut Angel #2 from Papericious, applied Stardust Glitter to it's wings and wrapped golden time to it's body.

I adhered the wreath over the box and followed by Angel. I foam mounted the Angel for some dimension.

Finally I embellished the Angel with a few golden gems. I hope you like it :)
