LIFE WITH YOU CARD | SIZZIX

Hello my dear sweet friends! I'm back again with another sweet masculine card. Last time it's for Brother but this time for a sweet man in your life! Yep! Life with your man is one amazing adventure! How many of you agree? :) This card is for Sizzix and I used a couple of newly released thinlits by them.

CARD DETAILS

I started by die-cutting all the thinlit dies out of heavy weight white card stock using Sidekick Machine and water colored them with Koi Water Colors. Adhered the die-cuts over the main card base, water colored a little shade to the truck or vehicle (:P) and stamped the sentiment from Technique Tuesday with Memento Black Ink.

And that finishes the card for today. How do you like it? Let me know in the comments! I'm entering this card for CASology Week 329: TURN, Simon Says Monday Challenge - Love is in the air, Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes and Uniko Challenge #51 - Anything Goes, optional twist Love

Hi everyone! It's been so long since I posted anything here. Life has become too busy, when I set up and plan everything for future projects something unexpected will happen then I need to cancel everything and schedule again! That is life!! right?

So I'm here with a beautiful masculine card for Sizzix Lifestyle. I used basic and minimal supplies for making my project. It turned out so handsome! haha!

Products from Sizzix Lifestyle
CARD DETAILS

I started by die-cutting the elephant from Baby Elephant Set out of heavy white card stock and water colored it with black water color. By the way I used Camlin School Water Colors.

I water colored a panel with shades of blue and purple, added splatters of the same color and I let the panel dry completely. Then I ran the panel through the Bigshot Express Machine along with Whoosh Thinlit Die.

Then I adhered all the elements with glue, created a scene as if the Elephant was spraying a heart of stars! ;) I hand drew the landscape out of black card stock and adhered it over the card front. Then I finished the card with a sentiment from Creative Retreat. I also added splatters of black ink for the finished funky look.

SIMPLE WATERCOLOR PAINTING #1

Hello everyone! This is the first painting of the year! I am so happy that I achieved this look only with watercolor brush strokes! I didn't use pencil at all! :D I am so proud of myself!! This is not my original design, I am just practicing the paintings by some artists. I found this image HERE but I don't know the artist. Sorry!

My resolution this year is 'Never Relax and Never Stop Learning'. I want to master watercolor paintings. So I'll just keep on learning and trying until I master! :D I don't have any teachers but YouTube is good for people like me! I am kind of self taught person. If you have any tips or any best websites, kindly leave the link below.

I used Canson Watercolor Paper and Koi Watercolors. I am very pleased with the result. I went with light color and then build up the color. For highlighting I used white paint to the flower, this adds so much life to your painting. I am planning to buy some liquid watercolors. Let's see when I'll get a nice and budget friendly liquid watercolors. ;)

And that 'hello' was handwritten. And that's all for today. I hope you like it. I'll be back soon with other watercolor paintings! Until then Happy Paper Crafting! :)

HOORAY!! IT'S 2019!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I wish you all a very Happy and Blessed New Year. May God Bless you all :)

In my previous post I said that I'll share my New Year Resolution! so here we go!! I usually don't stick to resolutions so I don't make any! But this year I wanted to make one. When I went through my crafty journey in 2018, there's a couple of things I noticed that I should stick to, not only this year, in the next coming years as well.. So here is mine! And I would badly love to know yours! Please share them with me in the comment section below! :)

The color of the year 2019 by Pantone is Living Coral which is a beautiful shade of pinkish orange or orangish pink. The products I used are from Sizzix Lifestyle and Catherine Pooler Designs.

CARD DETAILS

I started by water coloring the white card panel with Pink and Orange Markers to get that Coral shade. The colors I achieved through water coloring was pretty close to that Coral. Then I let that panels dry and ran it through the Big Shot Express Machine along with Flurry #1 thinlit dies designed by Tim Holtz. Later I adhered all the die-cuts over the main card panel which is A2 in size.

Next, I die-cut Hooray out of Pink card stock, Tag out of Vellum and 2019 out of left over water colored panel through Sizzix Side Kick Machine and adhered everything with Tacky Glue. I colored the backside portion of the Vellum where the numbers were adhered. I did a little mistake with '2' but I thought that's okay to share with you :D

Finally I adhered a thin gold strip to add more depth to the card design. And that is the card for today, I hope you like it. Thank you so much for visiting. Take care and I'll see you next time! :)
