Video : Christmas Cards #2

This little monkey from Avery Elle just cracked me up! Yay! for his purple polka dress. Look! how he is carrying the gifts to his 'cool friend'. The gifts and the sentiment is from 'Lawn Fawn'

I masked off the background and created a snow bank. Water - Colored the monkey with Frayed Burlap distress ink and Tsukineko Chalk inks. Watercoloring with chalk inks gives beautiful results! If you haven't tried yet, go, give it a try!

I've also made a card processing video. You can watch it here or you can go to my YouTube channel and watch there. If you haven't subscribed to my channel yet, kindly do, so that you won't miss any of the fun going on my channel.

Video : Christmas Cards #1

Hi dear friends! Today I'm here with a Christmas Card made for Runway Inspired Challenge ric#95 - Marchesa Notte  and Virginia's View Challenge#20 .

Runway - I was very much inspired by the blue and reddish pink colors.
Virginia's View -  Please find the texture in the background, the paper I used has already got some texture - I did heat embossing too.. :)

Ombre Stamping

Hello dear friends! Happy Saturday! Today, I made a card + video for Altenew Video Challenge #2 and this is my second entry. For my today's card, I took Super Script 2 stamp set and stamped 'thanks' in various colors of pink to achieve that Ombre look. I'm not quite happy with the result. What do you think?

I did a mistake here, I didn't clean my stamp well after playing and practicing a while with the inks. There was a reaction between Picked Raspberry DI and Hero Arts Neon Pink ink and it turned out Purple. At first, I thought 'oh ho no' and later I thought 'wow, I got a new color!' ;) Well.. yeah! If you don't have purple you can mix those two colors..

I have made a video for you on how I made this card. You can watch it here or you can go to my YouTube channel and watch there. :)

I hope you liked the video and card, sorry about the bad lighting- cloudy here! If you like the video please give it a thumbs up and also don't forget to subscribe to my channel

Thank you and Happy Crafting!! :)

Thinking of YOU!

She Stood in the strom, and when the wind did not blow her away,
SHE adjusted her sails

                                           - Edwards

What a beautiful sentiment! And I thank you my dear friend for sending me such a  stunning stamp set. And I'm dedicating this card to all the people those who are fighting against Cancer. May God heal them and give them New Life!

I stamped the sentiment from Verve Stamps with Versamark Ink and Heat Embossed with Shabby Chic Embossing Enamel from Stampendous. I created my own mask/template and distressed with Tsukineko Electric Pink Chalk Ink.

Finally adhered Pearls and sequins are from Avery Elle and Lawn Fawn.

A Yawny Hello!!

Hello hello dear crafty friends! It's been a while since I have posted anything here. I was just doing these and that these days and I didn't find proper time to craft or doodle or color. So, finally, yesterday I decided to make a card! So I went with a super sweet design and ofcourse this design was hitting my mind lately, to bring my mojo back!

So here is the story.. This little lazy doggie went to a park to take a nap and he found these beautiful and colorful leaves and he thought this was his perfect place to relax, nap and enjoy!!

The stamp sets are from Neat and Tangled and Altenew. And yes! this is a one layer card. I hope you like it. Take care and I'll see you soon.. :)

I love making one layer cards!! ;) I made this card for Avery Elle and Virginia's View #19 challenge. I masked the outer edges and created the clouds using a DIY template. I sponged some Spun Sugar Distress Ink. I stamped the giraffe onto a piece of card stock with Archival Jet Black Ink, water colored him with Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar distress inks. Finally stamped the sentiment and adhered a few sequins from Avery Elle.

I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by, see you soon.. :)

EDITED : so here is another card using the same technique but I changed the colors and the stamps. The stamp set is from Wplus9 and the ink I used is Mustard Seed Distress Ink.

Red Fox!

Hi everyone! This card is for Paper Smooches September 27- October 3 Designer Drafts challenge. I created this fall scene with distress inks - spiced marmalade, mustard seed and peeled paint. The leaves that are falling aren't the maple leaves, they are 'holly leaves' and I think they look really cool in the background just like fall leaves. I colored the fox with festive berries and antique linen distress inks. And stamped the sentiment with archival jet black ink.

I hope you like it. Thanks so much for stopping by. See you soon.. :)

Circles!

Hi everyone! I made this card for CASology WEEK 165: CIRCLES and Lulupu Challenge #53: Sparkle and Shine.

I took Neenah Solar White Cardstock and masked off the circle, sponged and blended with Memento Inks - Grape jelly and Lilac Poises. Then on to a piece of cardstock I drew the fence and pumpkins (pumpkins are circular in shape) and colored them with Spiced Marmalade and Festive Berries distress inks and for the hint of black (on fence and pumpkins) I used Archival Jet black ink. Finally stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts. And for the finishing touch, I added clear stickles from Ranger for the pumpkins and around the moon!

Here is the video showing how these pumpkins sparkle and shine in the night!

I hope you like it. See you soon! :)

Bunnies!

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing great! I made this card for Paper Smooches August 30- September 5 Anything Goes (wk5) challenge. I did a lot of masking on this card! And the frame thing - was inspired by May's card.

How I colored the bunnies?
Simple, you know, I just reversed the stamp (the details of the stamp facing the acrylic block), inked up the solid area and then stamped on to the image. That's how I got that interesting coloring but some how I think these bunnies are a little creepy!

I hope you like it. Thank you so much for stopping by. See you soon.. :)
