I made a bunch of One Layer cards with several Christmas stamps from Catherine Pooler Designs. I kept the design pretty simple. Along with Grey and Brown I used the traditional Christmas colors and the inks ( Rockin' Red, Lime Rickey and Midnight) are from Catherine Pooler Designs. CHRISTMAS CARD | CATHERINE POOLER DESIGNS

Hello my dear lovely crafty people! How are you doing? My husband has recovered well by the grace of God. He is still on sick leave and will get back to work next week. :) I had this card design on my mind for quite sometime and finally I was able to put my ideas into action. To make this card I used the products from Catherine Pooler Designs.

NOTE : Geo Trio Stencil and Tags, etc. dies are from Stamp of Approval Counting Blessings Collection which is sold out at the moment but the stock will be back very soon! So keep an eye on shop.catherinepooler.com.

Card Project Details

I started by folding the Kraft card stock into an A2 sized card base. Then I took the beautiful Tag,Vine Die and tiny circle dies and die-cut out of Kraft, White and Red card stocks respectively with the help of Big Shot Machine.

I placed the stencil over the die-cut tag and applied Ranger Texture Paste through it and allowed it to dry completely. Mean while I colored the leaf vine die-cut with Peeled Paint Distress Ink and added splashes of water for some beautiful result.

While the die-cuts were drying I went ahead and stamped the sentiment from Hip Holiday in Picket Fence Ink Dauber. Fussy cut it and kept aside!

Finally I wrapped a white twine around the tag and adhered all the elements together with foam tape and glue. I hope you like this card. Thank for visiting! :)

Fancy Plaid Background | Catherine Pooler Designs | Video

How about a Fancy Plaid Background this time? My sister gifted me a plaid dress, I thought it doesn't suit me! But after doing a few alterations, it just looked good on me and I'm loving it. So I was inspired by that plaid design and created these cards.

This is such a simple card and you can mass produce them easily. I didn't have a Misti but if you do have one then your job would be much easier than mine! (Inks used - Tutti Frutti and Sweet Sixteen Inks).

(Inks used Aquatini and Tiara Inks). I started my card by stamping the background repeatedly with one of the striped stamps from Yay Stripes Stamp Set in various colors.

(Inks used Rockin' Red and Garden Party Inks). Then onto a white card stock I stamped the sentiment from Hip Holiday (SOA - Candy Cane Lane Collection) in Midnight Ink, fussy cut it and adhered it onto the card front.

Finally I embellished the card with Gold Sequins. I have also created a video for you, watch and enjoy! :)

Quick and Easy Christmas Cards with Catherine Pooler Designs

Making quick and simple Christmas Cards is so much fun. If you stick on to one design then it will become a lot more easier for you to mass produce the cards. Here I've followed the same sketch on all my cards but switched the colors in between.

By the way I used the products from SOA - Candy Cane Lane Collection for my projects today. Did you know the collection is available right now at catherinepooler.com ? Such a lovely collection and I encourage you to go check their site and products :)

I used Peppermint Stick Background stamp and Merry & Bright Boughs stamp sets for my cards!

CARD DETAILS

I inked up the Peppermint Background Stamp in Rockin' Red followed by Melon Ice and Aquatini and stamped onto the front of the main card base. As you can see the Melon Ice Panel is slightly brownish in color because the ink got slightly mixed with Rockin' Red. I like it when two colors mix together and give us an unexpected color! :)

I cut the panels smaller than the main card base and stamped the sentiments and images from Merry & Bright Boughs stamp set.

I like the fonts and I liked the over all design of these cards. It looks clean, fresh, modern and trendy. :) I loosely water colored the holly leaves with Lime Rickey Ink. Yes you can absolutely water color the images with these inks. You can check the video HERE.

Finally adhered the panels over the main card base with foam tape. I didn't want to add any embellishments on my cards as I wanted them to be mail friendly :)

And that's it. I hope you liked my cards and I hope you got inspired. Thank you so much for visiting!

Stamp of Approval Candy Cane Lane Release Day!

Welcome to the release day of Stamp of Approval Cane Cane Lane Collection
. Hurry and place your order!!! :)

And to know more details please visit catherinepooler.com (owner of the SOA)

Hello everyone! These are the cards I made with Candy Cane Lane Collection. You can check my previous cards made with this collection HERE.

Recently I moved to a new house and I have set up my crafting and filming area. The lighting wasn't that good but I will try to find a better solution for that very soon :)

So this is pretty simple card and nothing fancy at all. I inked up the Peppermint Stick Background stamp with Broken China Distress Ink and spritzed a little amount of water and placed the card stock on top of it. Next I die cut the dies from Merry Label dies, stamped and die cut the holly leaves and berries from Candy Cane Lane stamp set with Aquamarine Archival ink and Neon pink ink. And adhered everything together.

Here is the video for you, Enjoy! :)

And now here is the second one, kind of layered! I inked up the Peppermint Stick Background stamp with Black Soot Distress Ink and stamped it on a white card base. Next I pulled out the Candy Canes and hearts from Candy Cane Lane Set and stamped randomly with Mama Elephant Bubble Gum and Butter cup inks.

Finally die cut the Merry from Merry Label Dies and stamped the sentiment from Merry and Boughs set and adhered everything together.

And that's the cards for today. I hope you like them! The Stamp of Approval Candy Cane Lane Collection is full of Joy and Happiness. You will never regret buying it. :) Go ahead and place your order now! Thanks for stopping by. Take care and I will see you soon :)

So make sure you sign up for the Waiting List so that you don’t miss out on your Stamp of Approval box!

So now let's move on the cards! I made three cards for this Blog Hop and I will make more with this Candy Cane Lane Collection! Cute Stuff!! Just a note, my cards are incomplete without splatters, Glitter and Sequins. And I'm sorry that I  won't be mentioning this in the every card description! I thought of keeping the description short and simple. The glitter, sequins and splatters will be the common thing! So let's get started!

This card features Merry and Bright Boughs Stamp set. I simply ink blended the background with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and spritzed some water for that whimsical look. Then stamped the beautiful images Holly Leaves, Ornaments and Berries with Archival Jet Black ink, Versafine Sepia ink and Carnation Red ink respectively.

Next I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with Archival Jet Black Ink and that finishes the first card!

The next card features Hip Holiday and Candy Cane Lane Stamp Sets. I water colored the striped background with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. Then I stamped the images on another paper in Versafine Sepia and Carnation Red Ink and die cut them with co-coordinating dies!

Once all my die cut pieces are ready, I arranged and adhered them. Finally Stamped the sentiment from the Candy Cane Lane Collection with Archival Jet Black Ink.

Here comes the final one! And this card features Candy Cane Lane, Merry and Bright Boughs and Hip Holiday Stamp Sets. I took a water color paper and ink blended the background with Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. Then stamped the branch/leaf thing with Versafine Sepia ink and Bird with Carnation Red Ink.

Next I fussy cut the leaves and die cut the bird with the coordinating die and adhered them on to the card panel. I added perfect pearls for that pearly look. Finally stamped the sentiment from Candy cane Lane with Archival Jet Black Ink. I adhered a silver glittery washi tape on the edge of the card base and foam mounted the water colored panel on top of it. :)

And that pretty much finishes the cards for today. I hope you like them and I hope you got inspired. Thank you so much for stopping by. Take care!
