Be a Unicorn!

May the Lord give us the Strength of the Unicorn!!
Happy Women's Day Everyone! :)

Hello everyone! I love to create water color backgrounds for my projects but I couldn't find a nice and proper medium for water-coloring. I have been using the Camlin School Water Colors for quiet sometime but I didn't get the results that I wanted and expected but they looked good though!!! You can find my projects here, here, here, and here. But recently I purchased Koi Water Colors 12 pack, the day I got it I fell in love with it. The colors are so vibrant and they don't leave a chalky texture as the other inexpensive water colors do :)

Loose and Messy Water-coloring Technique

Loose and Messy Water-coloring Technique is such a fun technique that anyone can give it a try. Simply apply water to the image or background and then add paint or load your paint brush with lots of water and paint or color your images! The paint starts to flow by itself. Such a Magical sight to watch!!! :)

CARD DETAILS

I started by water-coloring the background with the blue color, I applied three layers of color and let the panel dry in between each interval. I stamped the Unicorn from Stay Magical stamp set with Archival jet Black ink and water colored it as well. Next I fussy cut all the images and adhered it onto the main card base. Finally stamped the sentiment with Catherine Pooler Midnight Ink.

I made a little boo boo! Can you spot it on? I didn't realize until I published the post on Mudra's Blog. Yes, this card was a part of Mudra's Challenge Inspiration. I hope you like it. :)
