In India, the Summer has already started and the temperature today at the place where I live is 38°C.. phew!! So I would like to send some Sunshine to my foreign friends who are still experiencing snow fall. You know you guys are really lucky! Wish I live in cool place like yours! :)
CARD DETAILS
Last night I made a card with the pink flowers, I loved it and I wanted to share a video with you as soon as I woke up! - Gerbera Blooms, Party Dress, Rockin' Red, Flirty Fuchsia. By the way the stamp set I used is from Mudra, the inks from Catherine Pooler and the designer foil is from Clear Snap.
I took a side folded/landscape white card stock (I usually buy my card stock from a local stationary store, I use it for almost all the techniques because it is really heavy and sturdy) and stamped the first layer of the flower with Tiki Torch, followed by Orange Twist and Tutti Frutti.
Layering these stamps is so much easy and fun. You can eyeball it and stamp it. For the leaves I used - Lime Rickey and Grass Skirt. I slightly overlapped and stamped the leaves over the floral images as it adds a beautiful artistry look for my card.
I stamped the sentiment (from the same stamp set) with Midnight Ink. Once all the stamping part was done, I added tiny dots of glue on the center of my flower. I let it dry for a minute or so or till it becomes a little tacky. Then I placed the gold foil over the glue and burnished it with my fingers and bone folder. There you'll have it, beautiful gold foiled image! I am very new to gold foiling so if I made any mistakes kindly excuse me! :)
I just love the over all look of my card - the layers, the colors, the foiling oh! I am so satisfied with the results. :)

Hey Depti, I am in LOVE with your cards...they are so gorgeous!! I only know what I have seen in videos but I don't think there is any right or wrong to foiling. If you get it approximately where you intend for it to be then it's all good!! I love your videos and BTW, if you like, I will trade places with you as I LOVE the hot and am NOT in love with the cold...haha!
