Hello dear friends.. I'm back with a super duper fun card made for Paper Smooches Spark May 10-16 Picture Perfect Challenge, Little Tangles Challenge #56- Clean and Simple , A Blog Named Hero Challenging you to keep it Clean, CAS on Sunday Challenge #58 Cheer Up, buttercup and Virginia's View Challenge - Layers and Dimensions.
(I'm inspired by the wooden texture, pink flowers and green color and green leaves)
To make this card, I took a wood grain pattern paper from 'Papericious Wooden Collection', hand drew the fence with pencil and fussy cut it and kept it aside. Then took a piece of scratch paper and water smooshed it with 'Peeled Paint Distress Ink'. Then I kept it aside to dry. I then took another scratch paper and smooshed again with 'Peeled Paint Distress Ink'. I then kept it aside to dry.
While these papers were drying, I stamped the frog from 'Paper Smooches Little Lovin' stampset in 'Archival Jet Black Ink' and colored him with 'Fabercastell Connector Pens'. And stamped the hearts from the same stamp set and colored few with pink pen and few with green just to resemble as flowers and leaves. I then assembled all together and adhered to a standard sized top folding card. :)
Hope you like this card. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment. Take care and I'll see you soon.. :)
First, your own made fence looks fantastic! And I love your idea of using the heart stamp to make the flowers. Finally, that frog is too cute, it might actually be a prince hidden in there...
ReplyDeleteSo so cute!!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw this on Virginia's View challenge blog, I laughed right out loud. And now that I've seen it close-up, I'm still chuckling! My mom loves frogs, so this makes me think of her. Love all the inky goodness, and the colors you used. Tfs!
