Honey Bee Stamps - August 2016 Honey Hop

Hello Honey Bees! Welcome to the August release Honey Hop!!! If you arrived from Taniesa blog then you are on the right track!

All this week we have been showing you little sneaks of our awesome new stamp sets and dies! Tomorrow our new release goes live and to celebrate we are showing you some beautiful projects today!
In case you get lost, here is the blog hop order:
Deepti (you're here)
Lisa (next stop)

I created a couple of cards for this hop! Thank you so much Honey Bee Stamps for inviting me as your guest. :)

To make this card, I took a standard sized white card base and ink blended the background with grey ink and added tiny droplets of Black Soot Distress Ink. I used the beautiful Zen Florals for my card today.

My stamps are on the way, by the way! Mean while I used the digital file that the Honey Bee Stamps sent me! I took a print out and colored the florals with Grape Jelly Ink from Memento, Peacock Feathers and Antique Linen distress inks and added Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen.

Next I stamped the sentiment from Happy Everything Stamp set with Archival Jet Black Ink.

Then I fussy cut all the images and adhered them on top and bottom with the help of foam tape and finally added clear sequins.

Here is the second one and I used the same Zen Florals.

I took a standard sized card base and ink blended a tiny portion in the background with Mustard Seed Distress Ink and then added tiny droplets of Black Soot distress ink.

I then water-colored the images with Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Vintage Photo and Peeled Paint distress ink and adhered them in a cluster with the help of tombow glue!

Next I stamped the sentiment from the same Happy Everything stamp set with Archival Jet Black Ink and with a few clear sequins!

And that finishes the cards for today!

Your next stop is gorgeous Lisa.

A Doodle Card!

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I did some doodling! I really love adding tiny handmade elements/details for my cards. I hand drew everything with a black permanent marker and colored the fishes in Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink, the ground with Vintage Photo and the grass like thing with Peeled Paint Distress inks.

And at the bottom portion of the card I applied glue and poured some glass beads from Prima. These just look like clear stones under water! ;)

To spice up the fishes, grass and ground parts, I added Clear Wink Of Stella Pen. I'm very bad at fussy cutting and you can absolutely see that in this picture! ;)

Don't you love the background? I created it with Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks and added tiny droplets of water to create some interest. I'm entering this card for Simon Says Monday Challenge - Go Fish.

Thanks for stopping by. Bye :)

You are not Alone!

Yes! You are not alone! Your friends are with you!

I'm not alone! My friend Jesus is with me!

Hello everyone! I can't believe it's been 13 days since I lost my dad! I'm really trying hard to come out of that grief but I'm not able to! And I know I will never come out of that! But to keep myself busy and engaged I'm making lots of cards and videos, otherwise I will go mad, and all the cards and videos will go live very soon!

I stamped and masked the flowers from Wild Florals stamp set from Mudra. Then water colored them with my distress inks - Broken China, Festive Berries, Spiced Marmalade, Peeled Paint, Chipped Sapphire and Frayed Burlap distress inks. I felt so relaxing while doing the coloring part! Next I fussy cut the inside part of the panel. I adhered a pattern paper from Studio Calico and stamped the sentiment with Archival Jet Black Ink. Next poured in some sequins and adhered the floral panel with foam tape!

Thanks for stopping by!
