Mixed Media Cards..

Hey hi dear friends! Yeah!I'm back again after a sweet little break. You don't know how much I missed my craft table and crafty stuff. Well.. anyway! I'm back now and I've made two cards last night.. These are 'mixed media cards'. I've used my brand new 'Fabercastell gelatos' to make my cards..

This is the card I made for Lulupu for their 3rd birthday challenge#47 Lulupu's 3rd Birthday Special - Moodboard Inspiration..First I gold embossed the back ground with some water sprinkles. Yes! You can heat emboss with water also. Next I flicked some 'brushed pewter distress stain'. Then stamped with 'Kaisercraft frame stamps' in grey ink. I then took a pattern paper from 'Prima' torn the edges and adhered it on to the front of the card.

Then I made a tag,masked and watercolored with 'gelatos' and stamped 'three birthday sentiments'. I then took a piece of scratch paper and stamped girl 'birthday cake emily' in black onyx ink. Watercolored her hair, skin and cake with 'fabercastell watercolors'. And paper pieced her clothes, shoes and hair band. And finally added a golden string and a few sequins from 'Lawn Fawn and Avery Elle' and also enamel accents from 'doodle bug.

So this is the mood board, I was very much inspired by the subtle colors,frame, gold and also used 'three' pattern papers, three sentiments and ofcourse it's a birthday card! ;)

And also I have another card to share!

This one is a CAS mixed media card. I hand drew the fence and the bird house.. Created the back ground using gelatos.

Guest Designing at CASology..

Hello my dear lovely friends! I'm so happy and excited to let you know that I'm guest designing for CASology blog today. I won their #136 - basket challenge and it's like a dream come true!! :D So let's jump in to the challenge now.. This week we have a fabulous cue word ' Blossom'.

Well.. here is my card!!

I used bold colors and also did some masking, water colored the pots with faber-castell connector pens. Hope you like it and hope you would join the fun..

Birdies!

Hello friends! I'm back with a cute card to share with you all today. What I like about this card is - I love the color combo, I like it when I add a 'purely' handmade element, here in my case I made a nest with the paper scraps and I hand drew the music notes.. ;) I found my inspiration (cased) on Paper Smooches blog.. :)

The theme behind this card is - these birdies are friends and they are singing to let the other birdie friends know that they are available in the times of need! so that's why the sentiment 'Call me may be' (I'll come to you).. :)

So entering this card for Less is More #123, this makes me happy ( color combo and adding a handmade element) ; CASual Fridays CFC 137; CASology #136, Basket - I feel that nest is just like a basket and Addicted to Stamps and More #134- CAS.

Two cards!

Hey everybody! Today I have two cards to share with you and the first one is made for CASology #135, Mini , CASual Fridays CFC 137 and Addicted to CAS #58, distress. Yeah! I messed up with the music notes.. ;) haha..

I stamped all the cute little things first, then masked them and distress the cardstock in spiced marmalade and mustard seed distress inks.. Doodled the music notes and tiny little dots and other fun things.. :)

So, here is the second one and this one is for CAS(E) this sketch #112.. 

First I adhered the alpha stickers from Lawn fawn and then I masked off the top portion and sprayed with Brushed Pewter distress stain. For a little bit of interest I added another alpha sticker, which was cut into half, on 'h' and 'o'.
