Beautiful

Hello friends, I'm here today with a beautiful watercolored birdie card made for CASology WEEK 144: FLIGHT (the birdie is ready to fly) and CAS(E) this Sketch #120 challenges.

I inked up the images first, I then spritz some water on the images and stamped directly on to the watercolor paper. I let it dry for some time. And later I took the same inks, inked up and stamped the images again on previously stamped ones. By doing so you'll get a nice detailed and beautiful looking images.. :)

Hope you like this card. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment. Take care and I'll see you soon.. :)

Black and White + Gold..

Hello my dear lovely friends, I'm back with two cards today made for the following challenges..

To make this card, I took 'Neenah Solar White' cardstock and flicked black watercolor paint using a paint brush. Then on some pieces of scratch papers I stamped the horse (kid's stamps from a local store) in 'Archival black ink' and I stamped one of the horses in 'Versamark ink' and heat set it with 'Gold embossing powder'. Fussy cut them and adhered them on to the main panel using some foam tape. Then stamped the sentiment from 'My Mind's Eye' in 'Archival black ink'. Fussy cut it and adhered on to the horse with some foam tape..

Here is the second one!

For this card, I took a standard 'Neenah Solar White' cardstock and masked off the bottom portion with a post it note. Then stamped the sentiment from 'Hero Arts' in 'Versamark ink' and heat set it with gold embossing powder. Then stamped the same sentiment again and again in 'Archival black ink' just to give an illusion of music equalizer.. ;)

Finally adhered a black strip at the bottom and also added a few sequins from 'Avery Elle'.

Hope you like these cards. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment. Take care and I'll see you soon.. :)

I Love Roo!!

Hey guys! I'm back again with a cute and sweet little card made for Paper Smooches Spark Challenge - April 12-18 Picture Perfect challenge and CAS(E) this Sketch #119 challenge.. :)

To make this card I took a standard sized card and water colored the back ground with Spun sugar and Mustard seed distress inks and also with a nude tone marker. I then stamped the Kangaroo from 'Paper Smooches' in 'Archival black ink' and masked him off with a post it note. Then I took washi tape and masked the back ground and sponged with grey ink. See the first pic for more details.. And then stamped the sentiment from 'Paper Smooches' and dusted off with 'perfect pearls' on some black card. Just to add a little bit of interest I stapled the black card stock at one end. Then I added a few clear and white sequins from 'Avery elle' and that finishes the card..

Rhino Crash..

Hi friends! yep! I'm back again.. :D And I made this card for Runway Inspired Challenges ric#81, Jeremy Scott and CASology Week 142 - Sweet. I was very much inspired by the pic of Runway, the pic is a little wild and funky and by the colors and also was inspired by cue word of Casology 'sweet'. So I went with sweet wild Rhinoceros crash. I did some masking, stamping and water-coloring to the Rhinos. They are looking so sweet together and of-course friendship is one of the sweetest things on earth. Don't you agree? ;)

Hope you like it. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment. Take care.. :)

Hey friends! I'm back again with a cute card with umbrellas. I made this card for the following challenges..

To make this card I took a piece of standard sized card and stamped and masked the umbrellas. Then I drew a line with pencil on the lower portion of the umbrellas just want to give you an illusion that these umbrellas were a little drowned in the rain water and floating. Then I water-colored the lower portion with 'broken china distress ink'. I then colored the images with my color pencils. And stamped the sentiment from 'Avery Elle'.

And that's it. Hope you like this cute little card. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment.. Take care and I'll see you soon.. :)

A little birdie told me...

Hi friends! I'm back again.. :) I made this card for the following challenges

To make this card I took a piece of pattern paper from 'Papermania' which has some news print. Then drew a circle with compass and fussy cut it and sponged some 'broken china distress ink'. I then stamped the map image from 'Teresa collins' in peeled paint distress ink with a little bit of water spray on the stamp. And yay! my globe is ready!!

I then took the sentiment stamp from 'Avery Elle' and stamped in 'Archival jet black ink'. Then stamped the birdie and watercolored it using 'faber-castell connector pens', fussy cut it and adhered on the top of the globe using some foam tape. Finally stamped a few hearts from 'Avery Elle' and gave a watercolor effect to the hearts by just touching it with a wet brush. And also added sequins from 'Avery Elle'..

And yeah! this little birdie is shouting out and spreading the news around the world that he/she loves his/her partner so much.. <3

Water-coloring on Kraft

Hello dear friends! I made this card for the following challenges.. :)

To make this card, I took a kraft cs and stamped various flowers from various stamp companies and started masking the images using versafine black onyx ink. Once I'm happy with the masking, I took 'faber castell water color pencils' and water colored the flowers using 'koi water brush'. Later I added a few splatters of 'brushed pewter distress stain'. Finally stamped the sentiment and tied some black twine at the bottom of the card.

That is it. Hope you like it. Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving some love.

Easy Galaxy Background

Hello dear friends! I'm back with a watercolored galaxy card + a tiny tutorial..

Creating this background is very easy and so much fun.. ;)

Take an acetate or any slippery surface and place the watercolors.. You can use purple, blue, green, orange, pink , yellow and red for the galaxy. Here I used my 'camlin 12 cake water colors'. Then I flicked some white watercolor with the help of two different sized brushes. If you want to have a larger splatter use large brush and if you want a tiny or small splatter of color use small sized brush.

Then spritz some water and place the cardstock on the top of the acetate and press it firmly and wait for few seconds. And that's it our galaxy background is ready.

If you want to add more details you can flick the white paint again and you can also add perfect pearls. Yes! I added perfect pearls, brushed pewter distress stain and a little amount of glitter..

I then stamped the satellite from 'Inspired by stamping - kid's fun' stampset and water colored it using faber-castell connector pens. Then stamped the sentiment from 'Prima' and dusted it with perfect pearls.

Entering this card for the following challenges..

Hope you got inspired and liked my card! Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me comment. Take care and I'll see you very soon.. :)
