Donuts anyone??

Hi everybody! Well..I made this card for myself, feeling a bit low and weak these days both physically and mentally.. So just to cheer up and to tune up myself I hand drew those donuts and water colored them with markers (really therapeutic). I was inspired by these challenges Beyond Grey Challenge #65 Mood Board + Stamping (stamped the bg with tiny hearts and stamped the sentiment as well and was inspired by the donuts) and Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge- Donut delight..

Hope you like this card. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment. See you tomorrow.. :)

Masked Sweets!

Hi everyone! I'm here with a very sweet card today. I've stamped and masked all the images directly on to the newspaper print pattern paper and then water colored them with markers.. Finally added a strip of pattern paper on the bottom of the card just to add a little bit of interest because the card looked very dull with the monochromatic colors..

Hope you like it.. Thank you so much for stopping by.. See you soon.. :)

I have two cards to share!

Hello friends! Today I have two cards to share and to make these cards I followed Yana Smakula's water coloring tutorial.. She water colored the paper and then die-cut the images, since I don't own any die-cutting machine I used my heart punch and butterfly punch to create my own back ground.. ;) So here we go!

The first one is a shaker card.. Entering this card for Virginia's View Challenge - Shaker cards..

Love the soft pastel look of the hearts..

Here is the second one!

Aww! I love those butterflies!!

Entering both the cards for CAS-ual Fridays CFC 136 - Water colors

Hope you like them too.. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment.
Take care and I'll see you tomorrow.. :)

Water Coloring with Markers..

Hello friends! I'm back again with a watercolored card and this time I used my regular markers to water color the images. These images were stamped (Inkadinkado) on a piece of glossy cardstock with Archival Jet black ink and then water colored in the images..

Sorry! I coudn't able to capture the best angle of this card but trust me it is perfect in size and shape.. ;)

Entering this card for CASual Fridays CFC136 and Little Tangles #53 challenges where the theme is water colors..  and also for A Blog Named Hero, small scale

SHAKEr Card for My Dad!

Hello and good morning dear friends!! Today I'm here to share my inspiration project for the current challenge at 'Create Something Catchy Challenges'

If you want to know more details about the challenge and the rules and guidelines kindly click HERE..

Well, I made a Birthday Shaker card for my dad! I was thinking like how can I express my love to him?? Then this simple idea came to my mind, 'making a shaker card'.. :D He liked it so much and was surprised to see all the shaker elements and mechanism.. (y)

I took a card base that is a standard sized one and stamped repeatedly with 'Bo Bunny - Happy Birthday' sentiment. Then I took another piece of card stock and adhered the 'Snap card travel themed note card'. Later I adhered 'Lawn Fawn - Alphebet stickers' and spelled the word 'best dad'. I  love that font so much.. ;) I then took another piece of card stock, created a window and adhered an acetate and assembled all things together! Last but not least, I filled the window with the sequins from 'Lawn Fawn', 'Avery Elle' and some local ones.. And that's it!! All done!!

Hope you like this card and I hope you would give it try. Thank you so much for stopping by.. See you!!

Hand Painted Flowers!

Hello friends! Welcome back!! Today I have a water colored card with hand painted flowers.. I have a tiny pictorial on how I made it!

I took a piece of water color paper and adhered it to the chip board base using painters taper. Then I took a flat paint brush and just gave a wash, generous amount of wash with water..

I then took a paint brush and dropped Picked Raspberry distress ink on to the water color paper. The paper is still wet so the color spreads by it's own.. :)

Then stamped the sentiment from Technique Tuesday and added the clear sequins from Avery Elle.

Love Card!

Hello friends! Happy Sunday! Just now I came home from the Church. I made this card early this morning, clicked the pictures now and ready to enter my card to the challenges now.. Yay! ;)

I rubbed my sponge dauber on to the main card base with Fabercastell red ink pad. Then adhered three pattern papers from Simple Stories and later stamped the sentiment from 'Avery Elle' and banner stamp from 'Kaisercraft' and also added clear stickles to the banners. Just flicked some 'brushed pewter distress stain', I should have done that before stamping but anyway I think it's cool.. ;) Finally adhered 'Avery Elle sequins' with Tombow glue. And adhered a black strip of cardstock on to the side of the card just to add a little bit of interest and definition.. :)

Thank you so much for stopping by.. See you tomorrow!! :)

No Line Water Coloring without Stamps

Hello friends! Today I'm going to share a watercolor card using the technique 'No line water coloring with out stamps'. Yep! I haven't used any stamps except the sentiment and it is from Avery Elle. I used Distress inks - Peeled paint, vintage photo, frayed burlap, picked raspberry, spiced marmalade, mustard seed and broken china as my water colors.. I'm going to show you a step by step pictorial on how I made this card!

I took a piece of glossy cs and dropped some water, in the shape of a log, with my paint brush and dropped vintage photo distress ink and I let the ink spread and flow. I then heat set it with my heat tool.

Like wise, I did same for the grass, the chicken and the balloon. It's a very easy technique with loads of fun. Once all dry, took a dry paint brush with the respective inks and I gave some details for the well-defined look!

Hope you would give this try. I know the final result is not that good but I enjoyed making it thoroughly. You'll see me sharing a few more cards in future using this technique!
