Hello everyone! How are you doing? Thank you so much for participating in my giveaway and I will announce the winners very soon. :)
I was up on Honey Bee Stamps blog a while ago with this beautiful floral card with a video. I really like stamping, ink blending, water coloring and fussy cutting. Though I am not very good with water colors I love to try, experiment and explore. I used Hello Gorgeous and Happiness Stamp Sets for my project.
Card Details
I started by stamping the flowers on a piece of white card stock with Archival Jet Black ink which is permanent, water proofed and fast drying. Next I water-colored the images with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink with water color brush pen. Once everything was dry I fussy cut all the images with a pair of scissors.
I have a card stock smaller than the main card base and ink distressed the background with Festive Berries Distress Ink with an Ink blending tool and round foam. To add more interest and depth I added splatters of water and black paint. Next I adhered all the flowers over the ink blended area with glue and foam tape and also adhered the sentiment strip over the floral cluster. Love that sentiment ‘Spread Love Wherever You Go’.. Finally I adhered a golden strip along the edge of the card base and adhered the main panel on top of it.
Video Details
I have filmed a video from start to finish where I explained everything in detail. Enjoy!
I'm entering this card for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge where the theme is Anything Goes :)
