You are my Star!

Hello everyone! I'm playing with some washi tapes these days and that doesn't mean that I have a lot, I just have a few and I'm figuring it out how you can use them in different ways! So this card is a very simple to make. I diecut a bunch of Sizzix Thinlits - Star die and adhered them on top of another just to form a chipboard like embellishment. On to the main card base I masked off the smaller area and sponged Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. Later I flicked some Black Soot Distress ink and gold paint for some extra interest. Finally adhered the star on to the card base, painted it with gold paint. Later, I adhered the washi tape onto the star for more dimension. I really like how this card turned out! This one would make such a great masculine design! Finally, stamped the sentiment from Wplus9. And that's it, I hope you like it.

Mr.Dogboy!

Hello everyone! I have this super fun card for you today made for Little Tangles Challenge #66 - Ombre. The interesting thing about this card is I (tried) incorporated ombre effect in each and every image. :)

I stacked the bowls and bones by cutting a tiny slit into the bowls!

Mr. Dog Boy is so hungry! He already finished eating his two bowls and he is ready for the third one. lol!! Silly dog, look at his attitude!! So serious!! hmn! ;)

If you want to know how  I created the background kindly click here for the video.

I did a very bad job at fussy cutting, those bones are really very tiny, I really had a tough time fussy cutting them. If you have any tips, kindly share with me!

I hope you like my card. Thank you so much for stopping by. Take care and I'll see you soon :)

As you guys already know that how much I love doodling!! :) So this flower was hand drawn with a black permanent marker, colored with distress inks - Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint and  Picked Raspberry - I combined these colors for the brown shade! And stamped the sentiment from Lawn Fawn with Black Soot Distress ink.

Color Splash!

Hello everyone! I'm here with a super fun card made for Lawnscaping Challenges - Color Splash.

This card was inspired by my one of the oldest cards. You can view it here

To make this card, I took a white card stock - sponged with some Black Soot Distress Ink and then added tiny little splatters of water for a little bit of interest.

I stamped the branches from Winter Sparrows with Black and grey ink and fussy cut it and adhered it just to give an illusion of the nest.

I then stamped the bird from the same Winter Sparrows stamp set, colored only the hat with a red marker and adhered everything together. Finally stamped the sentiment from Stuck on you stamp set with Archival Jet Black Ink.

Finally added sequins and stickles.
And that's it. I hope you liked it. Thank you so much for stopping by. See you very soon :)

Sending You Sunshine and Laughter!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to A Blog Named Hero Facebook Inspiration. This month at A blog named Hero, we are collaborating with Avery Elle. Please go and check the blog for more details.

This naughty and mischievous monkey is spinning and jumping around wishing & sending you all sunshine and laughter.

I always wanted to create a sunrise/sunset background on my cards and I love how these colors blended together and gave that Ombre look. So here I used Festive Berries. Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed distress inks. And it really turned out well. What do you think?

I stamped the main panel with the stamp from Hero Arts in Grey and black inks and also stamped tiny little hearts with Archival red ink.

On to some piece of cardstock I stamped the monkey and branch and colored them with Vintage photo, peeled paint and frayed burlap distress inks.

Fussy cut them with scissors ans adhered to the ink blended panel with glue and foam tape. Finally added a few sequins here and there.

And that's it. I'm entering this card for CASology WEEK 187: SPIN and Little Tangles Challenge #66- Ombre.

I hope you like my card. Thank you so much for stopping by. Take care and I'll see you soon :)

Love You!

Hi everyone! Today I'm here with a 'floral love you' card with No-line water-coloring technique made for Altenew March Challenge: From Places Abroad – France and Simon Says: Touchy Feely

To make this card, I simply stamped the flowers with Antique Lenin distress ink on a piece of water color paper and masked the flowers from Floral Motifs Stamp Set from Altenew. I then water colored the images with Picked Raspberry distress inks and neon pigment ink from Tsukineko and another pink ink from Mama Elephant.

Just to add a little bit of interest to the water-colored panel,I fussy cut those edges. While the panel was still drying, I ink blended the main card base with Peeled Paint distress ink and added splatters of water.

Finally, stamped the sentiment from Altenew Stamps with Archival Jet black ink. And for the finishing touch I added crystal stickles and sequins

I hope you like it. Thank you so much for stopping by. Take care and I'll see you again! :)
