Hero Arts - Hello Love Card.

Hi everyone! it's time for me to inspire you again with Hero Arts products. And today I have a cute little Love Card, perfect for Valentine's Day.

To make this card I used 'Baby Animals' stamp set. Yes! You can create any card from any stamp set, there is no limit, all you need to have is a little imagination. 'Imagination is more important than Knowledge' :p

I masked off the lower portion of the card and blended with Peeled Paint Distress Ink. Then stamped the little mice on to another piece of card stock, water- colored with Faber Castell Water Color Pencils and adhered them with Tombow Glue. Then I stamped the solid heart from the same stamp set, fussy cut it, added Crystal Stickles and then added Glossy accents. Finally stamped the sentiment with Archival Jet Black Ink

And that's it. I hope you like my tiny little card. Thank you and I'll see you soon <3

Let's Get Pinspired #2

Hello everyone! I have something good to share with you, I don't care whether you think I'm fickle minded, LOL! Yup! I've restarted my challenge blog again. But this time there will be challenges occasionally not so regularly, whenever I have time ;)

I'm super happy that Peek-a-boo designs is sponsoring our challenge and the winner will receive a stamp set which is perfect for making Valentine's day cards. We, Peek-a-boo design team and myself, all teamed up and created cards for the challenge to inspire you all.

The challenge is to create a card inspired by the below pic

I was very much inspired by the dark blue, pink and teal colors..

On to some Iris card stock, I sponged Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink with the help of Ink Blending Tool. Then flicked some droplets of water - the water reactivates the ink and give us that splotchy background. Then on to some piece of same Iris card stock I stamped the flower Butter cup from Peek-a-boo designs with Versamark Ink pad and heat embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder.

I then colored the flower with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink using a Sponge Dauber. And finally stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with the same Versamark Ink and Gold Embossing Powder. To add a final touch, I glamed up the flower with Crystal Stickles.

I hope you like my card, kindly visit the challenge blog for more details and inspiration.

Thank you and Happy Paper Crafting.. :)

Video : Hero Arts - Heat Embossing and Ink Smooshing Technique

Hello everyone! I'm super happy to be a part of A Blog Named Hero Facebook Inspiration Design Team. Weekly once, I'll be showcasing a card and sometimes video too, using Hero Arts products. You can check our posts here, kindly like the page and share it with your friends.. :)

I made card with Hero Arts Small open flower stamp and Everyday Sayings Stamp set. First, I heat embossed the flower with Gold Embossing Powder from Ranger and then heat embossed the next two flowers with White Embossing powder from Zing. Then I took an acetate, rubbed some Peacock Feathers Distress Ink, spritz some water and then went over on to the heat embossed images. And this is called Ink Smooshing Technique. I love how the embossed part resists the water color.. :)

Finally gold embossed the sentiment on vellum, adhered a quilling strip on to the main card base and fixed up everything. I have made a card processing video, if you like the video please give it a thumbs up and share it with your friends and also don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel.

Entering this card for Paru's Card Making Challenges with the keyword - NEW (yup! new design team and new stamp set, small open flower)
